I wonder if MJ knew how big he would be when he was a kid. He was the undisputed King of Music, the GOAT. No one will ever be him, surpass him, or beat him. Long live the King of Pop and of Music!!!

I dont think he truly knew it but he knew he was talented and unlike any other. There's a video of young Michael being interviewed and the guy asks him "what do you want to be when you grow up?" And he replies something like "uh I don't know, an astronaut, the president, a jet pilot." And Michael was a genius he could have achieved any of things. But he chose to lead music because it was most innate form of expression

The oldest brother is Jackie (not oldest Jackson sibling, that is Rebbie born 1950 who is known in Black culture history for her hit). Jackie was born in 1951 and does an awesome falsetto and holds that beautiful note in the song at 2:00. The second oldest is Tito, born 1952, who plays guitar on the far left who covers the deep bass voice like all RNB soul groups had back in that day (every group had a tenor/falsetto, baritone, and bass). Jermaine is next who was born 1954 and is the one playing the bass on the far right and sings second to Michael. Tito and Jermaine had a lot of skill cause they had to follow choreography flawlessly with their feet and body while simultaneously playing their instruments AND vocalizing. You never see anybody playing instruments and doing all that ever in singing group history. You can see that displayed when they perform I Want You Back. Marlon is next, born in 1957, and has a good voice, and then Michael, born in 1958. Jermaine left when J5 left Motown in 1975. He stayed because he was married to Berry Gordy’s daughter and because he was already ear marked to have a solo career. He was viewed as a potential big Motown star for the future. Then the youngest brother Randy born 1961 who joined in 1972 and was in the back playing bangos was brought to the front a little more to look like a replacement to Jermaine. Jermaine was originally the lead when they started as the Jackson brothers along with Jackie and Tito and then Joe the father added young Marlon and Michel and Mike became lead.

The other member of the group who often shared leads with Michael during their Motown days was his brother Jermaine, who had his own hits with "I Found That Girl", "Daddy's Home", "Let's Be Young Tonight", "Let's Get Serious", "Do What You Do" and "Don't Take It Personal." (Also check out his duet with Tata Vega "You'll Never Rock Alone"). You MUST listen to The Jackson 5's "I Want You Back", "Who's Lovin' You", "Dancing Machine" and "All I Do Is Think of You." Please also check Michael's solo songs "Got To Be There", "Doggin' Me Around", "Ain't No Sunshine", "Wings of My Love" and "I Wanna Be Where You Are."

You are right - each member of the group had talent. Besides Michael and Jermaine (who I mentoned below), Jackie did a couple of solo albums (check out the songs "Love Don't Want To Leave" and "Bad Girl"), Marlon did "Don't Go" and "Baby Tonight" and Tito did "Get It Baby" with Big Daddy Kane. Even Randy recorded a single "How Can I Be Sure" and formed hs own group, Randy & The Gypsys. And let's not forget Rebbie had a hit with "Centipede."

Just imagine this little precious boy had the responsibility of.carrying the Jackson 5 he was the one that everyone came to see the brothers were talented but they were back up little Michael was the Forefront the front-runner that's why the pressure was all on him that's why his father didn't let him have a childhood or even a Boyhood because Papa was afraid that if little Michael would fall in love or have a little girlfriend that he wouldn't concentrate on his singing think about that Michael used to talk about that he didn't just lose this childhood but his young manhood. His brothers there were older and so they got to have a life they got married they divorced but Michael he had a late start in everything because he devoted his entire life to his career

Your message doesn't deserve the “RIP MJ" at the end of it at all. Michael has said multiple times that he was still black and didn't want people calling him white. He has nearly cried multiple times in interviews when mentioning viltigo due to the fact that people LIKE YOU were accusing him of wanting to be white. Viltigo and being white are two different things. You are only white if you were born white. You are only black if you were born black, and Michael was born black and he still is. Instead of honoring Michael in this comment, you were dead ass disrespectful. You basically had shit on his grave, mentioning something that had made this man depressed and miserable. Next time, keep dumb and uneducated comments to yourself.

The following is a list of why Michael Jackson is not the "king of music" and nor will he ever be. I'm not hating on Michael Jackson, just stating facts. 1. Michael Jackson could not read nor write music. 2. Michael Jackson did not play any instruments on any of his songs. 3. Michael Jackson did not write all of his hits. I'm sure you're aware there are many more. "You Are Not Alone" written by R. Kelly "Thriller" written by Rod Temperton "Human Nature" written and composed by Jeff Porcaro of Toto "Beat It" was musically rearranged by Eddie Van Halen who also played the guitar solo. "Rock With You" was also written by Rod Temperton. 4. The hits performed by the Jackson 5 while at Motown were written by the Motown creative team. 5. When it comes singing soulful ballads, Michael Jackson doesn't compare with Luther Vandross, Teddy Pendergrass, Smokey Robinson, Peobo Bryson and Jeffrey Osbourne to name a few. 6. George Strait has more Number One Hits. 7. Beyonce, Kanye West, George Solti and Quincy Jones all have won more Grammys than Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson's not even not in the Top 10. 8. The only Oscar Award Michael Jackson "won" was gained in an auction. The valid point I'm making is by calling one man "King Of Music" is an insult to so many artists that are equally, if not more so, talented than Michael Jackson. Could Michael Jackson play the guitar like Jimi Hendrix, Prince, Jimmy Page, Carlos Santana, Eddie Van Halen or Vernon Reid? NO, he couldn't. Was MJ a drummer like Alex Van Halen, Sheila E, Jon Bonham, Tommy Lee or Jon Paris? How about the bass guitar like Bootsy Collins, Bernard Edwards, Mark King, John Taylor, Stanley Clark, Verdine White, Geddy Lee or Luis Johnson? No to all of the above. How can someone be considered "king" of music when everything I've pointed out is straight up fact which cannot be disproven?

@@m1k3ydan Then put your overrated Moonwalker intellect to the test and prove me wrong. The truth is only hatred to those who can't stand the truth. Before you respond, we all know Jackson has the biggest fan base, the biggest selling album of all time, the most awarded artist of all time, globally known and loved, has higher concert attendance; all based more on popularity than talent.
