I think what would help me out is having a list of: 1) a health condition experienced, and 2) what you used to get rid of it. There was a little here, but the breakdown really helps.

I'm due in October and the number of times I've cried in this pregnancy because I was so tired 😂 Also had a thing where I would crave something eat it, crave it again and find it disgusting so we had to stop buying large quantities of my cravings. I am also struggling with headaches in the second trimester so I feel your pain!

I feel you 😭 I cried last night bc I was tired haha. Oh nooo I’m so sorry you have the headaches now! Luckily they’ve calmed down and I don’t have them anymore but it was rough! And lol about the cravings, the definitely come in waves then I never wanna look at them. Bodies are so weird! Congrats on your pregnancy! Keep me updated on everything 🥰

have you tried drinking coconut water? Where I live in the desert, if I feel tired, I drink that - but it needs to be high quality - not the sugar-added stuff.
@HannahWeseloh2 жыл бұрын
I’ve been drinking lots of coconut water! Definitely helps a ton! It’s easy to get dehydrated.

I love hearing reality! That way I'm prepared. I always wonder why people put themselves through all this - and maybe it's because people don't prepare by not listening, they don't know what to expect? Idk. Either way, this helps - because I don't know and I want to know - and these videos move me forward in my life.

@@krys9404 hi!! CONGRATS!!! Do you mean in LA or what I make at home? I’m a simple gal I love tofurkey and yves for meats and any vegan cheese and all the traditional toppings (Dijon, mayo, lettuce tomato, pickles and//or pepperoncinis). I hope you’re feeling good! 🫶🏻

Isn’t it so funny about the vegetables?! From about 7 weeks to about 12 weeks I couldn’t even THINK of a vegetable or I would gag or throw up 🤣 all I could stomach was white bread and vegan cream cheese, or very sweet or citrusy fruit. So fascinating! (I’m 16 weeks now and back to eating regularly, though some days I still find I need Diclectin unfortunately).

So relatable! I ate and insane amount of toast that first trimester. Oranges and fruit in general was the only other thing I could eat for a very long tme.

the thing about being vegan is that you're on top of your health and nutrition. People I know have gotten b12 and d deficiencies - because they think meat provides all the nutrients they need when their high antibiotic use makes the bacteria that produce such vitamins go away. Maybe back in the day it was true, but now veganism gives you a full nutrition source and animal products don't.
@extropiantranshuman2 жыл бұрын
I think another video explaining why it's worth going through all that for a vegan baby would help. I still don't get it - because for me there's so many other people's kids that're alive that aren't vegan that are currently contributing to the animal industry that can be changed - why not start there rather than adding new into the world? Then again, I kind of understand - because people shouldn't change others, but start over new. I think getting a different perspective than me on the matter would really help - I'm just a confused person lol.

I like the idea of not focusing on a baby once their born or even pregnancy - but since there's so much hype around not being able develop a kid properly if they're on a vegan diet - which I hear so much - including when pregnant - these videos really are needed for my life is all I know. I think some of this can be under health and beauty with the prenatal vitamins - maybe it can work a little iwthout it going too far.

please disclaim - I always freak out lol where I forget it's vegan :)

I feel the same! I think a lot of people think pregnancy is rainbows and butterflies but I never got that impression, in fact I saw mostly only fear mongering about how terrible it is which made me confused. Luckily I have some very honest best friends who are moms and helped me understand more what I’m getting myself into. I really enjoy it right now thankfully 🥰

@@HannahWeseloh that's why I come here for that middle of the road content. Reminds me of the abortion debate - long story if you want to hear it - where nowhere is middle of the road being responsible with having kids - if you save the kids - if the mom dies from it, the child might too with no mom. If you don't - the child's gone. Me I just believe if you have a kid, then know what you're getting into and have integrity. My philosophy teacher in college made people pick sides - no middle zone - so it distorted my thinking and now I'm coming back to normalcy here with these videos :) I knew reality exists.
