Keeping a tidy house is my goal too! Investing in cute organization baskets and such to make it more fun. Alex’s goal is so great too! I have a 6 month old and I’ve been thinking a lot about how much time I spend on my phone when I should be more engaged in her playtime. Also, I feel so out of the loop, because I haven’t seen Yellowstone. BUT it’s filmed in my hometown! I grew up 15 minutes from “Dutton Ranch”

Nice one Alex. That’s such a great resolution. I’m with you Ellie - not being to hard on your self. I read the other day something about setting systems rather than goals. Not that there’s anything wrong with goals. But sometimes it’s good just to focus on getting done good systems and routines in place rather than looking at the end point or goal.

yes agree! it’s a tricky one trying to set goals to better yourself without setting unrealistic goals and then feeling bad about not achieving them - good systems is a good way to look at it!

Wow u can get COVID twice!! This virus😡 South Australia was virtually Covid free until they open the borders before Christmas now it’s flooding in! We have restrictions here but now we’re experiencing it like the rest of the world have been for the last two years with friends and family with the virus, it going to be inevitable like Elsa said ahhh! I'm very raspy atm and couldn't breath very well on my run this morning. Convinced I had Covid I went and queued for 2 hours to get some RAT tests (we are in Melbourne). Low and behold my test was negative. Now I can't figure out what I have because what else is there but Omnicron 🤷

I tested negative at the northern hospital Sunday, symptomatic and daughter and husband were positive. Took another two days for me to test positive on a rapid.

I got a negative RAT at the same time my partner got a positive. Got a PCR that afternoon (2hours later) and it came back positive. Seems you need to be in the thick of it for the RAT to come up positive from the experiences with my friends too!

Ah yes yet to do my second rapid. The tests are so scarce down here I'm waiting 24 hours. Had to line up for hours to get these ones so don't want to waste them.Honestly I think there are so many people out there that don't know they have it that we are talking when, not if we get it!

Also love seeing you support Bowies emerging language skills! Unsolicited advice from a speech pathologist but it's best to teach children verbs over nouns as they are more abstract- nouns are more concrete and tend to be higher frequency. Try combining nouns with verbs 'balls bounce' and even modelling bouncing by using gestures or a real object to give more context. Something this small goes a long way :). Keep up the great work!!!

Whats easier with the test is if you first moisten it in your mouth and then tilt your head back and put it up your nose (to the point of yes a bit uncomfortable - needs to go pretty far up). Make sure you turn it around 3 times to ensure you get enough sample on the swab. It's not uncommon to sneeze afterwards, just a natural reaction. I do them daily for work and am quite a pro at it now.

not only did i test before going to work, but i had a mask on when i arrived and said hello to my staff and then i went upstairs and worked up there alone. we’re a very small and close team and don’t socially interact with the public.
