Quando as crianças se acostumaram um pouco com a nova casa e com as pessoas, começaram a sair para passear com outros cavalos. Eles correm com prazer e exploram novos territórios. Eles precisam se acostumar com a nova companhia de seus parentes e fazer amizade com eles. No início, é claro, os cavalos mais velhos são um pouco opressores com as crianças, afastando-as do grupo. Afinal, cada comunidade tem sua própria hierarquia. Os potros precisam encontrar seu nicho no rebanho. Alguns cavalos são mais hostis para iniciantes do que outros. Hallo Freunde. Heute werden wir die von ihren Müttern entwöhnten Fohlen besuchen und herausfinden, wie es ihnen geht. Während des Entwöhnungsprozesses wurden die Fohlen paarweise in Ställen untergebracht, damit sie sich alleine nicht zu sehr langweilten und den Stress der Trennung von ihren Müttern leichter ertragen konnten. Als sich die Kinder ein wenig an ihr neues Zuhause und an die Menschen gewöhnt hatten, begann man, sie mit anderen Pferden spazieren zu gehen. Sie laufen gerne herum und erkunden Neuland. Sie müssen sich an die neue Gesellschaft ihrer Verwandten gewöhnen und sich mit ihnen anfreunden. Natürlich sind die älteren Pferde zunächst etwas bedrückend auf die Kinder und vertreiben sie aus der Gruppe. Schließlich hat jede Gemeinschaft ihre eigene Hierarchie. Fohlen müssen ihren Platz in der Herde finden. Manche Pferde sind gegenüber Anfängern unfreundlicher als andere. Aber bald werden sich alle an die Neuankömmlinge gewöhnen und zusammenleben.
