11:50 if you need a 4K TV just to tell the difference, then it aint that much of a leap. i'm sorry, but i'm an old head. I come from the era where we went from 2D Super Mario World to 3D Super Mario 64 & it blew our minds. We went from blocky Gameday on the PS1 to seeing holes in jerseys on NFL2K on the Dreamcast. This is the first gen in 30 years I didn't buy into on day-1 & I probably won't get a Series X until Halo drops. Besides framerate & some additional particle effects, I literally cannot tell the difference. When I see comparisons between Gears 5 & Forza Horizon 4 on 1X vs Series X... its like, both versions run at locked 60fps. there's almost no difference. i'm not paying $500 for that... at least not any time soon.

Games like Horizon & Last of Us 2 still look just as good if not better. the last-gen version of Gears 5 still looks better than all the next-gen launch games & if we wanna talk gameplay... none of these games are better than Titanfall 2, a last-gen game. so its like, I got a 1X already which makes games look damn good already. I just bought my 1X in 2017, I might as well just wait a couple more years before I drop that $500. The only thing i'm missing out on is the load times & 60fps on 1 or 2 games here & here. it has the same UI, same controller & everything & Halo isn't coming out for a long time so I might as well wait.

Mine froze in Miles Morales. Scary stuff, hopefully nobody’s consoles are getting bricked. C’mon Sony fix it. Did yours shut off, then give you a repair storage screen? My suggestion is just to rebuild database in safe mode. Also I found in Call Of Duty the adaptive triggers were stopping me from focusing properly. But loved it in Astro.

BTW rest mode been fucking up ps4s for years, my power went out one day while mine was in rest mode and it hard locked after the power cut and wouldn't come out of rest mode because the power surge. So i assume rest mode is just as much a risk on ps5

Thank youuuuu Astro Playroom is NEXT LEVEL....if they put some bosses and more levels in that game it would be the Mario level. Thank you for saying this, many have NO IDEA. And the crashing thing is BS....its new tech, ya maybe there's a couple glitches but mine has been frozen once and assassins Valhalla was a little trippy but it's legit. The rest is just hype talk. The system is beautiful and it is gonna be amazing....also shout out to the DBZ on the back ground of that monitor....real ones know 🎩🙌 *Gameplay is definitely smoother, in assassins creed, the horses used to run choppy but now they move fluid and leap clean. Just like NBA 2K1, they draw up to shoot super fluid. So it's there, not groundbreaking, but definitely more fluid. And you right about the 3D sound. In call of duty I stay looking over my shoulder because I hear every footstep lol.

this seem to fix the problem i did not have any until today the console froze and shut off and it seems to be caused by the rest mode i also put the ps5 in safe mode and then did a rebuild on the system before turning off the rest mode setting off. hopefully PlayStation will have a patch for this soon.
