First Wisconsin Ride on The Near North Trail

After owning my Raptor for nearly a year I finally made it over to Wisconsin for my first trail ride. I got linked up with Jon through a Facebook group this spring and he was kind enough to show me this Near North Trail loop he had discovered. I felt spoiled being able to floor it pretty much whenever I wanted. The groomed trail made for extra smooth and fast conditions. I'm looking forward to riding it again someday.

Jordan Coard I just got a 2017 kx450f, trust me bikes live up to the hype, just remember one thing you need to be careful about, remember this, bikes are all speed no brakes, the second you tap the front brake and you’re going to fast, that bike is sliding from under you and you’re going to fall, try to use the back brake and use engine braking, when using the back brake remember to pull in the clutch so the bike doesn’t stall, but you’ll get the hang of it, don’t try to be crazy, it’s going to take some time before you can really ride hard, but enjoy your bike, you won’t regret getting one, be safe man.

@@PeteHager Try this! It's a mount that just clamps really tight onto the bottom of a helmet, so you can easily switch between helmets or toss it to a friend. I have found that on the older Fox V1 helmet it doesn't really work but I havent had any trouble other than that. If you plan on giving it to a buddy for the whole day, you could just zip tie it on to be safe, that's what I do when I use it on the jet ski. I have some wood 2x4's in the bed to stop my quad from rolling too far forward, thats one thing you could try! Just take your time when you're loading. I could definitely see how easy it would be to break a rear window if you weren't careful!

That ramp is 15 years old or so lol. I think it was bought locally at a hardware store. It's worked great and I like the trifold design. I also really like the permanent easy pull straps that are on it. They come in handy in sketchy loading locations. I have a bad back so gone are the days of the manual loading lol

@@User37621 I just measured mine and it's 69 inches. My truck bed is 6'4 and theres a few inches to spare. These ramps used to be on amazon but they weren't the last time I checked. They were about $175 I want to say. They have lasted a long time and will continue to last. I definitely recommend spending the extra couple bucks since it will go the distance
