Never coffee or tea on a fast. A hard boiled egg for the first 3 days then no food only water for 7. Did it while in college and working my shop rat driver job. About killed me. And you said, that "we´ll never be perfect", but that´s not true, we are perfect in God eyes, read Hebrews 10:14 . The word of God is more accepting and not understanding, cause if you see you, with your eyes, you still sining, but that only happen when you trust yourself (your thoughts, of the past, of your feelings which always changes, etc.); but when you trust the word of God above your thoughts, that´s truly believing his word.
