Yes I have to use the Cantu's stretcher in particular for the middle of my back where the hair puffs up a lot, since I Started using a stretcher, rinse it out with cold water I have less puffiness because I have wiry wavy hair

Omg I just tried this product! My results on mostly 4a hair. I’m floored at how inexpensive this product costs. My curls responded so well - the mouse with this product gave me soft hold. I’m so happy - it only took me so long to get this curl pattern in synch. One month post big chop!!!!

So I do understand if you you seen one of Cantu products why are you not using their shampoo and a conditioner prior to using the curl activator product, I used the whole line of Cantu!

I totally agree. I just bought several Cantu products. Shampoo, rinse out conditioner, Argan oil leave in conditioning cream and the curl activator😃

I looove the way this wash and go turned out 😍 How do you maintain your curls at night? I personally always use a satin scarf and put my hair in a pineapple but my hair still gets really frizzy, (especially on the second to third day) and even ‘freshing up’ my curls doesen’t really help to define them. 💀 Is there any product i could use or am i doing something wrong?

Thanks!! It doesn’t sound like you’re doing anything wrong and it’s normal for hair to get a little frizz overnight. I sleep on a satin pillow case (which I think is the same as sleeping with a satin scarf). I also do refresh my curls the next morning, day 2 not so much. I can usually just shake my curls and I’m good to go, but on day 3 and so on, I do have more frizz and find that how I refresh makes a big difference. I do have a “how I refresh my hair” video but am probably due for an updated refresh routine. I’ll add that to my list of content and make a video on it soon!

Ines Bibi I’ve used both the curl activator and the curl cream, I prefer the curl activator cream over the curl cream. The activator gives more hold in my opinion

Amy C always frizzier when I diffuse so I try to use cool to warm air on low speed to minimize frizz whenever I do diffuse

Hey, actually not when I use this product, but my hair does get crunchy when I use a gel. What you can do is, once your hair is 100% dry, coat your hands in a light oil and scrunch your hair. This will help remove the cast.

I find if you put your hair up in a towel, it just dries it too much, especially for a curly, wiry and wavy hair. so I come out of the shower have a towel around my shoulder and back, I start to put the product on my hair while it’s still wet,

Love it. Beautiful. Is your hair low porosity? I have texture similar to yours and I used the activator cream and then twist and loc gel over it. Pretty good combo. Gel not too heavy.

yes it does shrink quite a bit when it's dry. I don't mind it but using heavier products help to weigh it down a bit.

I don’t like the brand cantu. Didn’t you know that some of the ingredients used like polyquaternium-10, polyquaternium-11 are a synthetic conditioner that replace the silicones in hair products. It is called "silicone-free" to reassure buyers, but it has exactly the same function: it is a substitute that has the same effects. It is used to coat the hair, sheath it, give it a soft feel and it is also antistatic. Like silicone, it acts as a kind of glue that will temporarily give the hair a better appearance because it will plug the holes in the cuticle. The name is different, the effect is strictly the same.

it helps to give your hair hold as it dries. Once your hair dries, just scrunch it out, your curls will get soft again but stay defined. Use a little bit of oil when scrunching.

tbh cantu doesn't work for 3c curls if you apply it by itself, I have type 3c hair and I use to just use Cantu curl actvatior, and it made my hair super dry and frizzy but when I paired it up with a good leave-in conditioner and shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie the Cantu really helped define the curls.
