There is no guarantee that Togo military does not pledge its allegiance to Paris. If it does, it would literally be going from frying pan to fire. Yet another guarantee that the region has no unitary prospects and will remain a multinational zone..

Both Ivory Coast and Togo have militaries that were prepared to defend French interests and and attack those Sahel countries as an intervention to “restore order.” and that is who you Are calling for to have a coup? Please get out of your feelings and think for a minute. What makes the coups in the Sahel Alliance countries different from the coups that took place in Guinea? Chad? Gabon? The short answer is that one removed their countries from Francafrique neocolonialism and control. The other maintained that circumstance. What accounts for that difference? How does one know which circumstance one is getting? Just guessing? Flip a coin head or tails? Leap of faith?

ECOWAS and AU are lost causes. The youth can not look to any future with either organization. They can only take the lessons learned from the experience and apply same to any organizations they would create in the future. The number one being to reject any assistance, interference or funding by the external entities that have led to the current circumstance. Or they can accept the doom of repetition for forgetting history.

One of his brother the next in ligne Mae Gnassingbe might take over and make Faure Gnassingbe prime minister after his 6 years. So in conclusion, we have Gnassingbe family for another 12 years.

All of you here must know that half of the togolese territory (British Togo) is in Ghana. The U.N. created yet another mess there after World War II. The people at that side of Ghana should lend a hand to their brothers in French Togo. They need your help urgently for the survival of the Ewe people. They have devided the Ewes to better rule over them and make them forget about their past, since being true Israelis.

@@hjgh__ Ewe are not Israelites. Their spiritual system is not rooted in Torah. It is more aligned with Voodoo. Nor are their laws or customs. Certainly not their diet. It is CAP. And as far as interfering in their politics, their people are free to openly call for their other fellow Francafrique breakaway neighbors such as Burkina and Niger to assist in their emancipation from France. Believing that the current Ghanaian administration would even consider doing so is neither realistic nor reasonable

Of course this change will enable the current president to sustain in power. I think the actual issue with democracy to tackle in most African countries is the reliability of the electoral system (people, process, governance, etc.). A fair system would ensure he leaves or stay in power as per his people’s true will.

The mallaise in Togo, Benin and Cameron are really aftershocks of the Nigerian situation. This is the problem with Africa. We cannot pretend to be victims.
