Happiness is spending time in nature: watching the clouds pass by, smelling the trees, admiring the flowers, enjoying a bird's song. Happiness is beech sand under your feet and water around your relaxing body. Happiness is having a good hospital around when you need one. Happiness is a cat purring and a dog playing. Happiness is something nice to eat and drink. Happiness is writing a solid, good paper. Happiness is a watching a friend enjoy good fortune. Unhappiness is getting ill and in pain and not finding the right help. Unhappiness is doing boring things over and over again, without escape. Unhappiness is being mobbed and misunderstood or mislabeled: basically not being respected. Unhappiness is the pain of hunger, especially in your loved ones. Unhappiness is living under constant threat and stress. Happiness is finding the silver lining of the cloud. Happiness is enjoying the little things, when the bigger things can't be achieved (yet). Happiness is finding purpose that is bigger than you.

Happiness for me is when we are allowed to speak our thoughts and ideas without opression or the need to feel offended but listen to from an understanding point of view.
@Mike-mo4rn2 жыл бұрын
Very well said. True free expression is when people are allowed to express (say/write) whatever they want. Unfortunately, there is now a new "fashion" where everyone gets offended by every little thing- Some picture printed on a wrapper, someone says something about something or some tribe; one or another gets offended (nothing better to do, maybe?). People who get offended just show their own narrow mindedness and their inability to process new ideas and thoughts. As such, they hold themselves and people around them, back, and they remain ignorant of the fast-changing world, which brings us new challenges. Change is good and evolution waits for no culture or tribe. History tells us that tribes unwilling to change, simply fizzle out. It is a simple law of nature (nature; nothing to do with god). Live with nature; and learn to evolve/change with nature. That is my motto.
@Humanisgreat2 жыл бұрын
@@Mike-mo4rn how to deal with toxic parents? I am literally crying when i am typing this.
@Mike-mo4rn2 жыл бұрын
@@Humanisgreat Parenthood is extremely difficult, and it is the same in EVERY country. If you are not a parent, you would not know yet. That is not to say that some parents make bigger mistakes than others. But there is no such thing as a perfect parent, and all parents make mistakes. The important part is, IF the parents then or later on acknowledge their mistakes, and show regret, and make improvements. But humans are often in denial, all around the world. If that were not true, why are we destroying our own planet? We cannot even learn to live on Earth, yet we think we will make it to Mars (which is actually uninhabitable by humans). THAT shows our ignorance. Why would then parenthood be perfect? Just try to make the best choices in life, and ignore the obstacles, find another path.

Big Error, she unknowingly made an error. What she said about happiness in Islam and Hindus is exactly switched. Hindus believe in KARMA and its fruits in their lifetime. Islam believes in happiness after this life (the current life is temporary). Whereas Hinduism believes in happiness in the current life. If she referring to the concept of MOKSHA then it is something very different. MOKSHA has nothing to do with happiness but the liberation of the soul from the cycle of life. Her team made an error.
