Mr. Zuma is a force to be reckon with as we speak, anyone who looks down at him and the support garnered in a short space of time speaks volumes. It is a clear sign of how unresolved internal party politics can cause a big retrogression of the gains of freedom. The best option now would be for Mr. Ramaphosa to withdraw as the presidential candidate to allow the re-unification with the MK party. Equally so Mr. Zuma should step aside as the presidential candidate to unite the people. Both man can hold talks of reconciliation behind close doors while in the forefront they play a pivotal role to unify their people. Credit would be given to both of them for putting the people first above themselves through a humble action of swallowing the pride and ego in putting South Africa first.
