This was the same situation with the stadiums in Brazil Olympics some years back. But they finally used chewing gum, super-glue and duct-tape to cobble up something that looks like a stadium that just managed to withstand the events (it started collapsing soon after the games .. . and now that stadium is just a bus stand). Something similar seems to be happening here in Pakistan ... I think they will get something together to provide a half-working stadium ... just good enough to work during the games.
