BEST reaction so far. I was waiting for this.. I was waiting for someone to feel the emotion to feel how powerful it was and to be blown away just as I was and I knew I wasn't crazy. You are the third reaction video I've seen today and the other two were disappointing, but I'm wondering..is it because they were guys that reacted?! They weren't blown away by the song and I'm like you guys are crazy! It's such an incredible song. Thank you for your video ❤️

Thank you Denise, and also Your very welcome...I'm so happy you enjoyed my reaction. I can't speak for the other reactors only myself. First-I process music differently than other people. Only about 20% of the population has the condition that I have. It is where we process music through the neuro systems used for emotions and social exchanges while at the same time "seeing" the notes in our mind. As if a conversation is being had in our mind with the music. Secondly- Because my belief system is heavily rooted in the female. Her strength, vitality, healing, and power in general; the song sang to my very soul. As if it were a hymn (if I were Christian). I guess that is the best way to describe it. I have listened to it many times since and I have gone from openly weeping to just shaking because of the energy. A true masterpiece. Have an amazing night sis, and be well. Peace, Mel.

Hello from Milwaukee. I've seen several reactions to this video (mostly men) but I wanted a woman's view and perspective. The music transcends through the air and right into your heart and soul. The song is truly a celebration of women. More importantly how I interpret the music it speaks of how I see most women. The male side of the song, heavy and there's an underlying of strength that only a woman would know, on top there's an elegance and softness to it. Close my eyes and I see a womanly shaped silhouette. A quite strength and elegance and beauty. I see pain and suffering, injustice and yet the voice of Lizzy cuts through and soars atop of the heaviness, creating a balance that seems to defy definition. Something just need to be experienced and let it unfold. Thank you for your reaction video, it was wonderful. Wonderful wy to celebrte women.

@@Mel_ForReal Very much enjoyed your reaction to the Hu Band. If I may, I highly recommend a Japanese rock band called Band Maid. The musicianship is world-class, the vocal harmonies are outstanding and the pure joy these ladies have when performing is a sight to behold. I would recommend starting with their first music video (2014) entitled Thrill then one of their live offerings, perhaps Domination (live) from earlier this year.

What a touching reaction! Like in the Viking culture, in the Mongolian culture, women are very important, they took care of the family but fought alongside men to defend their land, fight their enemies. As men never knew how long they'd be in this world, they worshiped the gods and adored their women and children. They were the men's mark on this planet.

"Vikings" not nearly as warrior-like as mainstream history portrays. My family descended from "Vikings" ...possibly (open mind,,,,,) a numerical amalgamation equalling Roman numeral 6 ( VI ) Elders. 6 kings ...6 Kings. VI Kings... ..over time & millennia ( about 4 millennia) Vikings. Shalom.. 💜💙💜

I remember reading about Mongolian culture via Genghis Khan biography 15 years ago. they not only respected other religion (christianity though burning the church...they actually respected tribes following own religion and didn't put one against the other but prefer having a decent conversation...if not, they burn your church down)..anyway, they truly respect women's rights and Genghis Khan's recognize his single mother and his tough wife (even watch that Russian movie on Genghis Khan). the whole point is, Mongolian may have been viewed as hordes from 800 years ago but they truly respected women's rights for centuries.

I love watching your reaction; it puts me in touch with my reaction the first time I watched this video (which I have done at least 50 times). I wish I had a recording of my first time watching/listening to it, because I was floored. This is both a beautiful arrangement and a stunning work of editing/production. The fade-ins of the still photos (I interpret them as the band member's wife/significant other and children, but they could be the member as a child and their mother) were brilliant. The drum mimicking a heartbeat was inspired. The things done with the Horse Fiddle are cool and unique, and the instrument deserves wider use. I've shared this video a number of times, and will continue to do so. I like the other things The Hu have done, but this is stand-out the best.

@@Mel_ForReal How this for a love letter? Mongol lads had to sit upright and awake on a hitching rail outside the Yurt of a girl for 3 days and nights just to earn to the right to speak to her parents and her about their idea of dating! The whole tribe would to do anything and everything to break him and make him give up. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aH29k4dtgcukh68

I read the lyrics when she posted them on Instagram a few months ago and could not wait to hear the final result. It is beyond anything I could have anticipated. I loved watching you experience this song on a primal, spiritual level like I did, and I had tears in my eyes all over again from it. I have sent it to every woman I know and care for in the past couple of days, and I can't seem to get enough of it myself. Thank you for your video!

You're so very welcome. I have done the same and they have had the same reaction and as a result, have passed it on. However, I think it does take a certain type of woman, with a certain mindset or open heart and mind to have the reaction we've had. I am so psyched there are many of us. Have a wonderful day sis. Peace.

The original version was men’s praise of women, mothers. Lizzy version speaks to women and turned out to be a beautiful song for empowerment.

Hi Jl Melrose !! Actually, if this song was an epic fusion, when she agreed to record with them the important point was that she had to write the lyrics that she sings keeping rhythm and time, something I want to add is the beginning of the drums emulate the heartbeat. The Hu is a band of Mongolian origin, they are characterized by their instruments such as the Morin Khuur that looks like a two-stringed cello, the tovshuur that would be like a bass wich can be with two or three stringed, jaw harp, and as crowns the throat song with the that can give two musical notes at the same time, it even sounds like a whistle but it is this technique.
