Another great video, keep up the good work. How do I deal with burn out from my job is by looking forward to each moment of rest I get, from lunch to the afternoon to the weekend to vacation or holidays. I enjoy every moment I get and I also try to enjoy my time at work as much as I can, I was unemployed for three years now I am back in the work force, I enjoyed my unemployment period but I am also enjoying my work now. Its all a matter of perspective, try to find satisfaction in the simple things in life.

Beautiful video David! Since you’re in SLP and eventually going to Zacatecas, you should stop in the pueblo mágico of Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco. It’s less than 2 hours from SLP and on the way to Zacatecas. It’s totally off the tourist map and has what I believe to be the most beautiful baroque church exterior anywhere. Hi David. When I visited SLP I spent some time at SLP's former penitentiary. I thought the city's government was not making a wise use of such a huge space. I am glad to see they decided to pay homage to Leonora Carrington by exhibiting her work as part of the museum's permanent collection. San Miguelito is my favorite neighborhood in San Luis city. It has a very colorful and lovely chapel consecrated to the Archangel Michael. Check it out if you can. Thanks for sharing your candid thoughts about Mexico. Cheers

You got it! For most of the 19th & 20th century Mexico was haven for a lot of artists, political & intelectuals refugees from Poland, Germany, France, Spain, England to Argentina, Chile, Lebanon, Syria... all of them were fleeing their countries for different reasons. Most of them were considered misfits elsewhere and here they found a freedom, peace and inspiration to be themselves and so they decided to settle here. Around 1939, there were almost 2 million refugees in the country fleeing from WWII and civil war in Spain. After WWII many fleeing communist countries ended up here too. I find it interesting because we are seen as a country from where people flee but in fact, hystorically, we have been a country where people fleeing from other countries, found a home. And it is not talked about enough. Ps.- when I get burnout I do this: get inspired by YT to find facts that only I find interesting lol. Great video hun!

I liked when you took video in your perspective, seeing the streets "from your eyes" was really nice. As far as burnout, you are correct, almost anything can cause burnout eventually. Maybe at first it was fun and new, then things after a while seem mundane, ordinary and the new is gone. Instead of the word burnout, it would be best to say it's the end of a chapter or the end of the book. Then move on to a new chapter or new book that makes you happy :)

Something that I have noticed in modern day travel videos especially on KZbin is the constant inclusion of food in almost every shot. I am guessing that without doing this , the viewers will click out and find something that's satisfies their pressing need for instant gratification. So , homeboy here is forgiven of this necessity by me. Other than this, his videos are pretty good. His looks dont agree with his true persona. He appears rebellious and iconoclastic but comes across as mild-mannered, educated , well spoken, and interesting. Maybe he does this on purpose to create intrigue.

Hi Homeboy, just been made aware of your comments. You're correct, I am relatively educated (I'm an English teacher and writer) and well-spoken (apart from when I'm in London) but I was a cocaine addict and more for years which probably is where the rebellious side comes from.
