This is awesome, I have a few model T coils , that remind me of that schematic, except these are vertical coils on an iron core. That machine makes me so happy, consider yourself blessed, it is a rare bird

I know this is an old video, but that cat was so cute rolling around behind you; really hope that little guy is still with you. Anyway fantastic content Jeff, thanks so much! I deeply appreciate simple, old-fashioned show-and-tell style videos, especially regarding rare analog stuff. I see that you've made a few uploads recently, so I'll be checking those out, and I'm really looking forward to it. I actually engineer solid-state, low-power Rife/Priore technology out of my basement, so it's fascinating to learn about these old-style machines. Anyway, quite a bit of notable Tesla videos being released around the web in the last couple of days! Aaron Murakami and Eric Dollard just uploaded videos of them tuning their brand new set of Colorado Springs style extra-coils, which they're plugging into two telephone racks of mid-century (restored or rebuilt) military-grade audio and RF hardware. It's a really cool project! Using a 10vpp function generator they were able to light up a gas tube about a foot away from the coils, showing off exactly what is meant by "magnifying transmitter".

Be careful what you believe in the Tesla crowd... I used to lecture at many conferences and 99% of the speakers were charlatans... the Tesla family finally encouraged me to stop attending them...

Thanks for posting this, you have some very beautiful machines there! The pancake coil sparks, in my experience are very typical of pancake coil Tesla coils, yes each machine in my experience has a certain "flavour" of spark type. The noise and sparks reminds me of pancake coil that was over a meter diameter that I played with 30 years ago that had beer bottle salt capacitors. I recall that when I switched it on, guests to the Lab would run a mile thinking something blew up, LOL! As for the second device modern day electronics, particularly if powered by a good quality function generator would far surpass the accuracy of the machine you have there , although I am captivated by its quality of workmanship, which is truly astounding! Great video-Cheers from Australia -John

My Great Uncle was H.G Fischer. Not certain what this machine actually does or did back in the day.

So it only takes 40W input, and the output is crazy high. Why not put another one to step down to eg 220V? Did you hear that if you put that Jacobs ladder inside a rotating magnetic field, a time portal may appear?
