I know GM king has his hands full but it would be awesome to someday see a series of his personal favorite games that he studied over the years

Truly elegant computer line, a series of relatively quiet moves that gradually put Black in an airtight box.

Mr King, I truly enjoy all your videos, they are very instructive. There are so many outstanding games that i would like to see your ideas about them, like i had suggested before Byrne-Fischer 1963-64 us championship the 11-0 wipeout, the argentinian massacre, i would like to add alekhine- nimzowich in which alekhine's gun appeared ( tripling rooks and queen) and reti-alekhine where alekhine had a lot of pieces en prise.

That Bc4 intermizzo check on move 38 caused me give an audible "exclam!" - what a beautiful idea from the beast Stockfish.

B4 by Fisher just shows the pure genius of the man. The computer move made to look easy.

Thank you Daniel! Excellent analysis. Fischer was without a doubt the best chess player of all time! Anyone close to him in his prime or in their prime (Kasparov, Karpov, Carlsen) he simply would have gone up another gear to defeat them in a match. He was not scared of defending his world champion crown, it was his own uncompromising eccentricity that was his undoing. He hated draws and had a killer instinct to win matches.

I wonder if we have (had) the same tournament bulletin. If I recall correctly, mine was a small ~4"x6" descriptive notation booklet. It had photos of the event and may have even had the scores of the blitz tournament too.

If Larsen really did “insist” on playing Board 1 it’s kind of laughable. Did Larsen ever win a big game?

A bit off-topic to this game, but I would like to see more videos covering Fischer's entire match against Spassky in 1992. When you search youtube only one or two are covered.

I won't rule it out, but I must admit I'm not inclined to. First, there was something distasteful about the whole match, played in civil-war Yugoslavia. Second, both players were well past their best. Third, Fischer was prone to making unpleasant outbursts during the match. I think I have said enough!

Fischer all by himself in a foreign nation Russia of all places in the sixties and He was never rattled, actually He rattled them so bad that ,it was said of Bobby that he must have used Black Magic on them!! Put Carlsen in America when He first started ,would he have done what Bobby did!! i doubt it very much.Bobby would also beat carlsen if he had a PC no doubt about it!!

Whatever America's faults, we don't slap a players son into a concentration camp when they're about to play for the world championship as the Soviets did with Viktor Korchnoi. The only chess federation that Carlson seems to have trouble with is the Norwegian one.
