Thanks Jimmy. The smaller rods are using size 2 baitholder hooks. Running round ball sinker (10-20g) to a swivel and then short 8lb leader (50cm) to the hook

Nothing better than a yakka for a good session. Good bait = good fish. And they are also fun to catch :) Great video mate. Hoping to get down to the coast myself in the next couple of weeks. Trout season closes so that will mean a shift in focus lol.

@@ShroomFishing I love catching the yakkas just as much as using them. It is one of my favourite ways of fishing also. Hoping to get down to Burrill Lake near Ulladulla later in the week to fish the dark moon for mulloway. So will be hitting up a couple of yakka spots and hopefully find some mullet for bait too. Yeah mate. It is certainly chilling down. Trout season wraps up next week, then the real cold sets in. Big carp and reddies are the winter targets.
