Funny enough, I found the last pack of baits I marinated 4 months after posting this 😂 they are nice and saturated, they also shrunk by a small amount. Not by much but it’s noticeable

Great video! Loved the chunky first bass haha I assume it sitting in the package for a couple weeks would not affect the scent because there is no telling how long they set on the shelf in stores, but there's no telling for sure haha

Have you tried the Pro-Cure Carp Spit? I bought it on Amazon, and at $20 for 8 oz. it’s kind of expensive. I used it on mouse tails and rainbow trout seemed to like it. It’s a very heavy gel made up of things like fish oil, ground nightcrawlers, corn syrup, and anise. Surprisingly, it smells like licorice. My first impression of this gunk is very positive!

Never heard of it. The only scents I’ve consistently had good luck with is berkley gulp and occasionally powerbait. The bait fuel seems to work but this was a one time thing. I still have the baits with slab sauce to do a video on…..yeah they been marinating for a few months because I lost them for awhile 🤣

I haven't used the bait fuel for panfish lures yet, I did try it for bass on stick worms and ned rig TRDs but did not see any difference. For panfish I swear by the Berkley Gulp products, Gulp Minnows and tipping the jig with Crappie niblles, I have seen a huge difference when using those products for panfish than using no scent.

Yep the 1” berkley gulps are a staple. I’ve always got atleast 2 jars on hand. Chartreuse and smelt or anything close to it.
