I was about to say the same thing. Scent to me is for a worm you just drop to the bottom and leave in one spot. A technique id probably only do while night fishing while camping because its to slow for me otherwise.

Honestly I've used tons of different scents and I think it's a toss up. When you think about it hardbaits like cranks dont ever have scent but soft baits always have something. At the same time I've had days where soft plastics that are older with their scent fading (have stayed on the rod for awhile) slamming fish. Other days I've caught them like crazy with a bait fresh out of the package and also on other days where I've used megastrike attractant pitching creatures. I think it's more personal preference but I like and do use scents 🤷‍♂️

Yeah dude do the bobber thing that’s what I thought you’d do but I liked this rig and video. But I have an idea for bobbers I’d set out 3 and 3 in a hexagon spread about 3 feet apart from each other set it out to float and see what happens. I have a pretty cheap idea I think I might try it myself just for fun

The coffee scent spray on isn’t as good as the one that comes on majority of sk plastics and that is because they stay on longer,and i think only strike king pre scent their plastics before they harden since all my yum and berkley lose scent after one cast and the sk stay on after years

Interesting, very good video idea, but I have some suggestions to make it more scientific: 1. You need a control group, so in case if you used floats you would need 3 rigs side by side one with no scent and other two with the scents on them 2. Also to really make a conclusion you would need a lot more fish lets say fish until the total number hits 100 fish caught that way it would be easier to point out which scent worked better
