Dang! Now that’s a filet table. In Cuba we call it “la mesa de mentiras” The table of lies! That’s where everyone gathers and talks about the one that got away! Enjoy man that’s a proper table😂😂

Food for thought. Maybe run you a line from the bay to use the saltwater to clean your fish. If you use freshwater it completely changes the flavor of saltwater fish. Just my 2 cents

Nice beginning to what will become a legendary fish cleaning station. Put you some pressure treated 4x4 in the ground and then Lang solar lights and lamps so you can see and film in the evenings.

It's pretty high? Get a salt water pump on your dock and put a light on a pole above it won't cost much to run cables etc. Salt water is key to keeping fillets in top condition

hey buddy, instead of fresh water on the table have you thought of using a raw water pump, mounting it to the dock and running salt water over so you can use that to keep the station clean but not rinse the fish in fresh water??? Just a thought, as I never like to hit my fish with fresh water when cleaning. Nice build, now go catch some monsters and put it to good use!

Hey Heiko how you been. Use Saltwater to clean Saltwater Fish Not Fresh Water. You can buy a cheap 12-volt pump with a longer Hose, stick it in your water back there at your dock and hook a battery to it near your table then you could turn it off and on and use it as your Hose that way you're running Saltwater to clean your Fish. Just a thought 🤔

Would it be better to use salt water to wash the fish down? You could tap a pump into the water at your dock abs run it through filters so it's squeaky? lol

If using city water the chlorine actually takes away from natural habitat fish flavors. Just my opinion. Other people have commented use the bay water. A pump mounted by your dock with a fine stainless steel filter screen over pick up would work awesome. Can't wait to see the table in action.

Just NO . Way too much water in the mix , forms should be set on grade meaning top of the board is finished height , rebar for walls should not have been an after thought, and you don't use wedges to set cinder blocks . If they would have dug it out before they formed it , it would be level with the ground you are standing on . That MIGHT have taken another hour . He talks about the importance of rebar not being exposed to the elements so it doesn't rust , and then he drove the wall rebar into the ground where it can rust . Top edges could have been tooled with a round over to get rid of the sharp corners and keep them from chipping away over time .

Dude, right? And the fact the pad wasn’t big enough to stand on also killed me. What was the point of the pad at all then? Heiko could have gotten away with just building wood some legs for the table top and be done with it.

Yo ,, Heiko I like your table I guess you could also use it for something like a buffalo ! Or an elk.... PS. Your builder should take some lessons on how to act on video FROM YOU,,,,,LOL. That was a joke ( or was it ? ) THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA......
@merrywissemes
@merrywissemes Жыл бұрын
Why did they not just make the pad bigger so you could stand on it? And why didn’t they center the blocks on the pad instead of them being off to one side? That was pretty weak. Heiko, you could have just built some legs on that top piece and not fart around with that crappy concrete shit all together. You would have the option to move the table if you wanted to. Just my unsolicited opinion buddy.
