Jetty seems pretty chilled, a testament to how much she trusts you, she knows you won't hurt her and she also seems to like the experience ! As for the composting toilet ... the jury is still out on that one, I think it's because we have been conditioned by generations to flush every time and that habit is hard to break. Loving the whole camper van tour but really looking forward to you getting back on the water !! Stay Safe & Fair Winds !!

I thinking I would like a composting toilet in my RV, trying to convince my wife may be a different story. The good thing about them is that it lets you use both your gray and black tanks for gray water. As for Jetty's back pack, you'll know she likes it when she goes to sleep in it. Keep the good stuff coming guys.

Thank you so much for posting about the backpack. I have one dog with bad hips and another that just abruptly decides she’s exhausted and lays down at the side of the road refusing to walk any further, lol. I don’t mind carrying them for awhile, but I can’t carry two (at 53lbs and 61lbs). This would be perfect!

TIP: learned this from truckers back when i traveled all but 5 states in my motorhome. It's called a "Canopy" aka can-of-pee I reused a dark quart size milk jug. Keeps u from filling up tank. In your case the pee bucket. Or if in woods just do a nature call. You get the idea...

Hey bill, I don’t know if you two are still on Long Island, but if you are and you want to come out on the oyster farm, all three of you are more than welcome to come out for a day or however long you want to be on the boat on the water. Nature's Head is great! Urine stinks!!!! The more frequently that is emptied the better! (Like daily...) The poo seems to do just fine for as long as a month or more (depending on use). Not sure about your kink in the vent tube, but normally that fan is great. Bought mine after a Gone With The Wynns video of composting heads that goes into some great detail on the nuisances. They also had a discount code that still worked.

I think Jetty loves the back pack. How about a good pair of goggles for her eyes? I always worry about my dogs getting bugs and dirt/stones in their eyes when we are out. Also think about jetty's eyes when in full noon to 4pm sunlight out on the water. She needs to have a good set of "sunglass" style googles. Besides it makes a dog really cute when they wear them. If I can ever get back on a boat of my own, I'll give the composting head a try.

Omg Jetty in the backpack was great. It actually looked like she was really kind of liking the whole ride thing as she got used to it. The Seagull filters are great. I have thought about a composting toilet but the thought of having to empty the liquid so frequently if you are at anchor (not 3 miles offshore) is a real concern. I like everything else about it. I look forward to seeing how you like it and also running a fan all the time. Although a small amount of amps - still needing to run all the time - just curious. Thanks for the great video.

Lmao, jetty was wondering wtf is goin' on. But seemed ok with it. I think for me I'd have gotten a kiddy trailer. I know space is at a premium but they fold up and could be bungy corded to the roof ladder or bike rack. Gives jets some space to move around and be comfy.
