In this video, I set out a crawfish trap at a local pond to catch crawfish for my new ponds. I waited an hour and ended up with 15 crawfish in the trap. Thanks for watching! Crawfish Trap- amzn.to/3cj4Jsu

It rained rather hard here in Oklahoma the other day. A crawfish was washed up into my apartment complex and I noticed him while walking the dog. I looked at him and expressed my pity for his situation, moved on. I was staring at my now empty aquariums and said screw it, the crawfish was screwed without intelligent intervention so I felt it wouldn't be greedy to make him a pet. He's been with me for 4 days and the little guy is hilarious. He enjoys his coconut hovel and you can watch him doing escape drills, usually from his perching rock. Watching him eat his drinking pellets is really fun as well. All in all, Odie is making for a unique pet and I'm really happy to have him.

I think you should add more local vegetation from the ponds and puddles that you get the minnows and stuff from. That'll give em more of the beneficial bacteria and other micro organisms they need. Plus, the turtles and crawfish would probably love more roots and plants to gnaw on.

Get like 10 buckets of plants from local areas. Even if the plants you’ve added are fast growing plants, you’ll need a lot to start off such a huge pond.
