Literally made my mouth water! Love the cookin stuff Joe! Hard to find sheepshead here in Missouri, guess I'll settle for crappie and walleye. Boat looks amazing, cant wait to see it in person. Also, keep us posted on FishBump merch, i need a new fishin hat. Everyone share FishBump TV, this man needs to hit 10k by the end of the year!!!

Haha, I hear Ya Man! Wish you could have been there with us in the shop for the sheepshead sliders! I am sure crappie or walleye would be really good if done the same way. I will try to keep more catch clean and cook episodes rolling out for you guys. My sister Brenda will be in town next week, and She is amazing in the kitchen so stay tuned in. I have got a few Fish Bump caps like the one you see me wearing in this episode, I will see what we can do about getting one sent your way! Thanks for your encouragement and support of the channel, it means a lot brother. I can't believe we are so close to 10k! Every sub helps!

1st. time viewer! Absolutely hit it out of the park! Very informative, without overdoing product pitches. Nothing sends me packing faster than repetitive plugging! I immediately subscribed to your channel, and cannot wait to peruse your playlists for past videos! Keep up the good work.

I've caught, cleaned and eaten sheepshead a number of years ago. We were out of Ft. Meyers Beach with our grandparents. We dug up and used bloodworms for bait. Of course, our rigs were just about the same as yours. When cleaning the fish, the pelicans at the dock got all the bony scraps and skeletons. Yep, we fried them up and I'm telling you, they were outstanding! While a lot of other guys are out there catching snapper, grouper, hog fish, and cobia, I think sheepshead are just as good or better. I called them the "bluegills of the sea" cause they tasted so good. Develop your kitchen and cleaning station and keep your knife sharp. You'll do just fine. Maybe some day I can join you.

Cooking off the back of the boat mold that you made. You're an absolute LEGEND cpt. JOE. A fishing GOD! *EDIT* You made another hull?! The mold is the one upside down.... damn! You're ascending into the heavens FATHER JOE.

Haha! Glad you enjoyed the cooking at the shop! The upside down Grey hull is the plug or pattern for the orange mold we were cooking behind. I wish it was another boat ready to go! Thanks for watching and commenting, it really helps!

I'm getting back into a boat after 30 years without one. Found your channel looking for gel coat repairs. After realizing that you are local (I live in Lillian) I subscribed to your channel. Having to re-learn a lot of things fishing being one of them. Love the videos of catching, cleaning and cooking . They are very helpful. I also watched the build videos. That's a very nice boat .

Thanks! Yes, we are very happy with how everything has turned out. I think the use of Coosa board is a big part of the boats overall performance. I really appreciate you watching and Commenting, hope to have more videos coming soon!

Now I've got to try that on some of my walleye fillets here in Missouri. Sheep's head fishing looks a lot like crappie fishing. Takes a delicate touch and a little patience too. Loved the video. Made me hungry lol.

Any tips on fishing for sheepshead on a jetty from the bank?
@FishBumpTV9 ай бұрын
The same basic techniques apply for shore based fishing for sheepshead. You might want to try using a slip cork rig to help with minimizing snags. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!
