@@austinj470 Because of the vent that blows air from the motor (and also sawdust) as it runs is on that side and I get the mentioned sawdust to the face, lol. I'm not normally left handed, but the job was less awkward if I used it that way. Yeah. Got a face ull of sawdust. Yay for goggles.

Mahogany box is my fav. The blowing the sawdust back at yourself is classic. Never done that before...Oh wait, yes I have. Several times. Glad to see that we are a human. Thx for the great videos. Keep up the great work. God Bless ya.

Nothing beats mohagany. I work with ever new species that I can get my hands on, and simple mohagany has a beauty and workability that I havent matched.

I REALLY like that the grain on the cherry goes diagonally. They all look awesome, but I think that one is the true toe-nail-clipping receiving winner. What a neat project, thanks for sharing!

Every time I watch your outtakes, I think "we definitely would've been friends in high school". Great job too. These are the first band saw boxes I liked enough to consider making.

Broke a bandsaw blade in shop class 3 years ago trying to cut the walnut face… ended up doing a box with one large opening on the front. Great video don’t know why it took me years to comment. Highly recommend buying his project sheets

I've made quite a few bandsaw boxes and i always wondered how to fill in or make the kerf disappear. I love your idea about using a shim. I'm going to try that the next time. I also like you commentary, very entertaining and educational. Thanks,

I just found this site by searching bandsaw boxes, and I’m glad I did. Very good video. Really good. Good pace, clear instructions and I love the outtakes. Very funny! For some reason, we have all blown into an empty, sanded void at one point, all with the same result. I can’t wait to watch them all. Excellent narration, too. Best Father’s Day present so far, but then I’m the first one out of bed. Keep up the good work!

Wanted to stop by. Bought a handful of plans. You're plans are absolutely excellent. I have 100's no exaggeration on file and from magazines/online/print and the quality I truly appreciate on yours. Having breakdowns of cuts lists / assembly / printable templates / page numbers to locate things....really topnotch.

The most enjoyable part was seeing all the custom tool pockets on the wall at the end. Gotta love organization. Everything in my work truck has a specific spot that it goes into. Once I’m done with it, it goes right back into its place. Otherwise I get bugged by the clutter and it seems to effect my work.

I like them all but especially the Jarrah from the front but the cherry body looks amazing. Great comedy, and at least your neighbor can now recover his pool table in a decent colour cloth.

Marvellous - miniature works of art! I envy your skill. But as a non-woodworker who has become addicted to wood shop channels, I get the impression that the main function of a wood shop is to make things to use in your wood shop. Next, a self-adjusting box for your band saw box...

Jarrah is a Western Australian timber, very beautiful and much prized. You hear no accent because it knows it is upper-class and it looks down on most other timbers.

Fantastic build Drew. This is just the right amount of “over the top” woodworking. They turned out amazing, and you broke the process down simply enough that it didn’t feel like an overwhelming build. Super impressed with this. Great job!

they're all amazing but the jarra is my favorite because the darkness of the wood really pops and you hid the entry cut the best on that box

I like the cherry a lot, but I like the design the most! I think it’s a very elegant design, with the way you cut everything out of one block, on the bandsaw that you’re making these for. Very impressive stuff!!

Beautiful work and a wonderfully relaxed presentation style. Too many skilled crafts folk come across as elitest (probably spelled that wrong) and something you couldn't possibly aspire to. You make me want to go and try these projects. Thanks

I like the cherry box best. However, the drawer bottoms and getting arrested was pretty funny. thanks

I like this design. And I've got plenty of jarrah out in the shed (we use it as firewood here). Will definitely have a crack at making a couple of these, probably one using jarrah and another in salmon gum (another great Western Australian hardwood from the firewood pile). I have some local blackbutt also which would make a nice bandsaw box - that might be my trio. Not sure what to use under the bottom of the boxes though - my neighbour doesn't have a pool table. Love your work.
