What type of plastic worms and swim baits do I use during and over cast?(the type of colors)!
@bryanmannoia75619 жыл бұрын
Chase Smith they generally agree darker colors for overcast days or murky water and brighter colors for clear water. i think it has more to do with speed than color

what about ponds that show no sign of craws. still use craws for trailers? suggestions on which ones?
@jeremiahgiles35939 жыл бұрын
craw trailers still work. use a boot tail or swim tail style swim bait as a trailer to imitate baitfish

Berkley havoc pit boss is both a great swim jig trailer and good on a Texas rig. Hammer shads are good too

What I do is I catch my own crawfish and released them into my pond. But even if there are no craws a bass will most likely still bite it because it looks different and don't know what it is.
@soevasive8 жыл бұрын
it's the action and motion they give off is one reason to use them as trailers

i wanna try this today what kind of jig is it?
@soevasive8 жыл бұрын
Swim jig, you basically just reel it in, try different speeds. try various trailers... you'll know when they hit because they'll hit hard.

dave is the best! good fisherman, great techniques, and funny as hell! i always wonder if he ever accidentally bites the hook with his fish imitation.

For a grown man Catching a big fish a truly big fish is as close to recapturing that feeling long gone for decades of being a 6 year old once again on Christmas morning Only other feeling that matches it is when a bowhunter arrows a big ole mature woods warrior buck

I don’t know if it’s my area, but I can not, catch a fish on a jig. No matter the type of jig, no matter the type of trailer. Drives me nuts!!

Stocked pond. Feed the fish by the shore every so often, they get giant, have no real predators, and will bite anything. Feed them often enough they literally jump out of the water.
