This is why I watch Debo videos. He acts like a normal fisherman, shows the good and the bad and my young son can watch with me. He's not doing silly challenges, trying to sell merchandise and only showing the big fish. So much fun to watch and learn new things. As long as he makes videos, I'm watching them.

Epic evening of fishing Brother, outings like that make all the dog days worth while And I'm sure you will remember this evening for ever. I was fishing the Potomac River in the fall 9 years ago, I put the boat in at 5 AM fished my favorite creek till 1 pm caught 22 bass. was headed back to the boat ramp and saw a cove I knew was always good on outgoing tide so I pulled in, it was a nice grass flat, being fall I was fishing fat crank baits I tied on a Wasp Bub-it in Tennessee shad pattern which is my go to color for tidal water. the Bub-it runs from 1-5 feet deep depending on how hard you crank it so since the flat was a grass bed I was slow rolling over the grass bed and was slaying 5+ bass for the next 3 hours. I stopped counting catches at 35 I know I caught at least 15 -20 more off that one flat that was approx. 100 yards long. the bass were so stacked in there it was insane I have never had another day that good. I remember it so vividly. when things get going as well as you were doing you have to remember to stay aware take your time and relax, I learned in the Marine corp. that Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. that's what I think about on hectic fishing days where the fish respond well, its easy to make mistakes when your trying to throw that bait as many times as you can in a short time span. Relax, Breath and slow down Brother Your a great fisherman and my favorite on KZbin. Hope you can get some help with that rod brother

@@rosshall312 nice! Bass Geek is AWESOME! Super smart and as nice as they come. Luckily to have the pleasure of taking with him. Don't have many of the huge mountain reservoirs here in Iowa. He fishes those a ton so I'd definitely recommend you watch him on those. Haven't ever fished a golf course pond but sounds like they can be productive. Fishing is hard, I've been skunked on my last few trips. Have a good day bud.

Oh, man!! You killed it!! And I think I hurt as much as you did when the rod snapped. My most sincere condolences for your loss, sir. Hopefully they can replace it for you.
@DEBOSFishing5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it was a blast! It's all good. They replaced it for $40.

You are more calm than I would have been and I'm just talking about just losing the Jack Hammer! Expensive night of fishing but great vid as always!
@DEBOSFishing5 жыл бұрын
I figured it was going to happen. I lose chatterbaits more than about any other lure. That's whybibcould never afford to fish with just the Jackhammer 🤣

I'm always trying to squeeze in a quick session after work too. I'm lucky to get in an hour or so after work on weekdays this time of the year. I'm not a fan of these shorter days

I hear ya. I feel my after work sessions may be done ☹

@@DEBOSFishing mine are basically done already. Tried to squeeze one in yesterday. It got dark after 15-20 minutes, and that was with keeping my rods and tackle in the car and stopping along the way back home. At least I don't work weekends. Time to tell the gf that she won't be seeing much of me Saturday-Sunday

I have a backlash question ...who else gets a braided style backlash thats basivly impossible to get out or even reuse that section of line. Its like the middle gets wrapped up together really bad or so... Any tips
@DEBOSFishing5 жыл бұрын
Are you saying it knots up or it digs down into the spool?
@TheAndyoesq5 жыл бұрын
what did you use to attached / secure the trailer hook to the buzzbait
@DEBOSFishing5 жыл бұрын
I used the gamakatsu trailer hook pack. It has a clear tube that you cut a small piece off and put it over the hook.
@TheAndyoesq5 жыл бұрын
DEBO'S Fishing love the videos. I have that set. Do you “hook” the plastic lengthwise, instead of sliding it over the chatter bait hook?
@DEBOSFishing5 жыл бұрын
@@TheAndyoesq yep, you put the hook through it sideways.

DEBO'S Fishing thanks! That’s what I thought after watching your video. Really cool that you answer questions. Very jealous of Your fishing locations. I’m in northern NJ, the most overpopulated and over fished place in the country. Your videos are great, me and my sons have learned a lot. And thanks for answering, very cool.

That's why i only buy 25 to 30 usd rods when i find promos, like for Okuma, Ron Thompson etc. (without the promos, the same rods are like 60-70 usd). But iv'e never broke one, as i go out like only 2 days a week.
