Heaven on earth dink city looked like so much fun!!! That Yo Zuri line is my fav braid of all time. The lews x finity handled it very well, it looks like it was a fast and not a extra fast though. I have seen bass spit up all sorts of fish craws, lures, lizards, snakes mice and frogs!

What a day of fishing. I've never had a day like that. That's amazing. Well. I had one hour or so that was crazy fishing. Fishing with 2 friends in our old row boat on the lake I grew up on. The three of us caught 81 sunfish in less than an hour. As quickly as we could get them off, every cast we got another one. We all were using a tiny Rooster Tail in black. But your day was even better because nothing beats top water bights. You knew it was going to be a great day. That's why you didn't sleep well. I hope that happens to you again very soon. That was a legendary day! I've had some gooduns but that takes the cake. My buddy and I were out the the other day with good topwater action too, threw on a Zara spook and got a nice debo sized fish on it, couldn't believe it!

I don't want to break up the chain of thought here,, I just want to thank you 💕 for the help you have given me in regards to setting up a bait caster. I was able to make good casts WITHOUT A BACKLASH!! I was using a belly weighted hook on my miyagi Dope Gill on a 6/0 hook. The weight seemed to be too much for the swimbait. I followed up with a blue/black worm with a 1/8 bullet sinker and caught a nice one pounder. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS!!!!!

Great video Debo, love them anyway on a frog. Like you, could do it all day and into the night. Been trying to force feed them frogs, but water visibility is 2". Killing them on plastics, especially from 10:00 til 2:00. Much rather use the frog. You had a super day and I am envious. Thank you.

Come on man, some of my greatest fishing has been in Iowa. Iowa River, in Iowa City. FW Kent Park, Johnson County. Cedar River, Linn County and Blackhawk County. Mississippi River, Louisa County, Des Moines County, and Lee County. Skunk River, Henry County, Des Moines County, and Lee County. Not to mention all of the lakes in Johnson County, Lee County, Henry County, Louisa County, and Des Moines County. The Upper Iowa River, not sure of those counties. Iowa rocks!

Now can't use Iowa for why your not catching bigger fish cause I live in Michigan and I catch big bass not everyday but I catch 4-7 bigs ones a year and probably more. I was using frogs a few days ago; I had a hard time getting them hooked. The week before I hooked up easier, but usually frog fishing is slower than jigs and soft swim baits.

(i tagged you on the pic in IG and said thanks but my account is private...). so a burning question for your channel: right-hand vs.left-hand retrieve on baitcasters. i'm new to a baitcaster and now have 3 right hand retrieve reels (i'm right-handed). now i feel like i may have made a mistake not starting out with a left-hand retrieve. maybe you can make me feel better about my choice (or not). thanks for all you do and the great content. when my special lady got on my case about all my lures and rods and plastics i showed her your organization video and said: "well at least i'm not like this guy!"

I don't know if your rod is marked wrong or not, but at my Walmart they also have a 7'4 heavy version that is rated 3/8 - 2 oz. I almost bought it but wasn't real sure about it. My plan was to use it as jig rod. Do you think it would good for that?

That depends on the body of water . I’ve found a couple ponds where the bite doesn’t start until first light. Others you’ll slay em’ a couple hours before dawn. Heat of the summer though I like to get on the water around 4 .
