Nice Job! I live about 1 1/2 hours from Seminole and have been wanting to fish there for quite some time now but all the stumps scare me away. Do you have any tips on running Seminole, I just don’t want to lessen my chances to lose a lower unit.

That's about how long it takes me to get there from Freeport. Take a left on the lake, follow that towards the back waters. Go slow and get yourself familiar with this area of the lake which is wind friendly. Ok, thank you, I have also been wondering if I need a Florida and Georgia license to fish the whole lake or if it is similar to Eufaula where you only need Alabama or Georgia to fish either side?

@@emfishing8766 here is my understanding and I called Florida about this. If you launch in Florida and do not touch land in another state you’re fine. However do please check they are easy to get a hold of. Remember you’re just one cast away

​@emfishing8766 Better check that out. Most of the lake is in Ga. I'm 72 and have fished the lake with a Ga liscense for 40yrs and have never been approached by a game warden but don't take my word as I'm usually not out on weekends.

That's a respectable catch for someone who doesn't know the lake. Personally I'd leave that long handled net at home and use my thumb but I'm not a tournament fisherman so my opinion isn't worth much. Congrats!

If you get the fish a little closer to the boat it wouldn't be so hard to net the fish
