Fishing marks U.K thanks mate, always nice to get some positive feedback. I'm in Oslo at the moment waiting for the plane home after a weeks fishing up in havoysund in northern Norway 🇳🇴. I've tried to film as much good stuff as I could but sadly broke my go pro. Will have a norway special video up very soon hopefully. Tight lines 👍🏼🎣

It wasn't that disappointing, you caught a starfish, I've just came back after 10 days in the south of France, not even a sea cucumber, after watching the vid I'm definitely taking my boys for an overnight fishing in chesil Well done guys.

I suppose you're right at least we got some fish. Usually a night session on Chesil keeps you busy with at least straps and smoothies this time of year, but it was so quiet! Chesil is always worth a trip, its crazy the amount of different species you can pic up in one session. One winter we fished local with no joy, we decided to travel to chesil on a whim, we fished for about 4 hours and had over 30 cod between three of us up to 9lb!! And that why I love it! Tight Lines!! i'm doing a 4 day session at Chesil from this Sunday but it seems very time i'm at Chesil the weather is real bad, if it's not gale force winds it's hammering it down.

Hi fishing chesil from the 9---12 sept any special places I should head for and what bait should I use .thanks .
@Bulldog21085 жыл бұрын
Hi William. Chesil is one of those places where any spot could be the productive one so it's really hard to tell. Generally we want deeper water on the brightest calmer days, so the bridgeing camp for example then on overcast days with colour in the water anywhere could produce. Night is always better especially in the summer, when the sun is shining and the water is clear. This weekend is small tides and I find the bigger tides are usually best but again chesil is a wonderful place and can be good anytime. Bait wise it all depends what your after. Squid, sandeel and rag worm would be a good bare minimum choice. It usually fishes best either side of high and low water. Anytime you have tide run is better. It's a great place with huge potential but it can also be a desolate wasteland at times. Don't be lazy with the baits and keep at it the entire time you're there and you just might be rewarded. My last trip it took me 14 hours to get a bite, then I managed a PB bass and a PB undulate ray within 5 minutes of each other. Good luck let me know how you get on on our instagram @fishingbrotherswales

I have to say fishing during the day in summer at Chesil is very poor if your bait fishing but at night when the temperature drops and it's gets dark you will get bites left right and centre.
@Bulldog21087 жыл бұрын
Your right thats the usual scenario but unfortunately on this trip the night was the quietest night I have ever had on Chesil beach. Tom went down again yesterday without the camera this time though. I know he had a 2lb bream so make sure you check out out instagram @fishingbrotherswales to have a look! Tight Lines!! Fishing Brothers

Great video lads! we live in South Wales and have recently started fishing the Beach, just getting up the confidence to fish overnight as we are novice sea anglers, but certainly found your video informative and inspiring, Will be back down early September, does it fish well in the Autumn? Are the mackerel still around?
@Bulldog21087 жыл бұрын
Hi Robert, thanks for the comment. Chesil can be a bit sketchy as its known to have random huge swells so if you are setting up with a shelter make sure you are far enough away from the water at its highest, especially throughout the winter. It's amazing how you can close your eyes when the water is like a mill pond, have two hours kip, wake up and it's like a scene from the perfect storm lol Yeh the fishing can be great in the autumn. Its the best time for big rays and bass and the cod should be starting to show in bigger numbers as September goes on. I know a few cod are already being picked up off Chesil. The mackerel will still be about now but they are going to start to slip away so get them while you can. Did you go after? Tight Lines!! Fishing Brothers
