I don't usually go fishing in the main boat channels in the Florida Keys, but this time I do and we find some mangrove snapper and a bunch of other fish. We start fishing in the mangroves because of FWC but then try fishing a boat channel in Key Largo.

Those channel snapper hit hard. They’re constantly swimming in the current so they fight way harder than the fish who stick close to the mangroves. It’s like the difference between a lake bass and a river bass. Two different animals

Suggestion ! Have you ever tried launching sea eagle by rolling it over wheels so boat enters water and wheels end up in front so that you don’t have to enter water to remove wheels . Just a thought 😮

Now if you really want to take your taste buds to the next level, try adding some avocado and mango to the mix. That's one of the ways they serve it in Puerto Rico and other Caribbean Islands. FWC has to have reasonable and probable cause from a reliable and prudent source. Then they can enter your vessel, vehicle, and residence if the reliable and prudent source of information leads them to believe illegal fish or game is being kept.
