I’ve known about this for years . See Walt Disney was a conservationist & a avid fisherman way back when he was a kid , Walt actually helped with conservation on lake Okeechobee , there are some of the worlds record largemouth bass in Disney World lakes & ponds within the park & within the theme park , once a year bass fishing company’s come into Disney world for a annual convention & they let pro bass fisherman test new products in & on theses lakes & ponds , lake Okeechobee & Disney world work together when it comes to conservation of the bass species & when I say world record bass I mean world record bass no joke , first learned about this in my teens well over 35 years ago , I had a uncle who worked their & he told me this , your one of the lucky ones if you get to actually go into the theme park & walk around fishing rod in hand & fish these lakes & ponds . Tray,s such a cool kid , I can say that because I,m 50 .

Thanks for throwing this video together… almost every other “fishing at Disney” video I’ve seen from fishing channels were not actually on Disney property. I’ve fished Disney yearly with friends for the past few years and enjoyed your take on the guided excursion. I’m also glad you used artificial bait because I’ve only ever used live bait on my excursions and wanted to try artificial on my upcoming trip. As for Bay Lake (where you fished), that’s where we fished last year. It’s a Great Lake to fish and I caught 7 decent sized bass over the two hours. And if you ever go back and fish on a future trip, I’ve got two recommendations… 1) fish Disney Springs as it has a river system with lots of cover for the bass to hide… or 2) fish Crescent Lake (Epcot) and sometimes you can actually go into Epcot’s lake and fish in front of the various countries in the World Showcase. It’s an amazing photo op catching bass with the Japan pavilion in the background.

Wow YakPak I didn’t know were in the Army. My family and I thank you for your service, my great uncle on my moms side was a Green Beret and he was in if I’m not mistaken he fought in the Viatnam War. My grandpa was also in the Army and served 20 years but back in 2016 he passed away to Cancer. But again thank you for your service

Somehow, I found your channel just a heads up I heard you mention hawaii. I grew up there bass in lake Wilson up by Hickham Airfield by Waihiwa. Tucs better known as peacock bass and Oscar's. Also smallmouth and bluegill as well as tilapia and a host of other exotic fish. Next time your back in Hawaii check it out Kauai also has great fishing and alot of the rivers in around Princeville as well as Oahu in around the Pali hwy.

I fished in Kenai Alaska at my brothers house once. You pick the right time you’ll land a ton of salmon/trout etc…. There’s a world record salmon, then there’s the Kenai world record salmon.

21:44 you could tell by that beautiful sound his spool made that it was an 8lb + bass if his drag was set correctly given that most bass fishermen fish with 15-20lb test but still that was a hefty bass by the way the rod moved versus the pecking of a bluegill or straight pull power of a catfish it had a far more gamey movement like it was attempting to gobble its pray in one bite rather than sit and enjoy it

I was fishing with a friend in California and he snagged cormorant with a spinner through the wing. Fish and game happened to roll up in the middle of us trying to unhook it. That was such a crazy event. I still talk with one of the wardens that helped us. I got bit up by that thing. 😂
