Good spot for early halibut, April, May, I did well right there. Sept, Oct, stripers all day. For whatever reason incoming tide an hour or so from high tide was always fire.

@@KryptonDonn You can never go wrong with a: - 6'6" uglystik gx2 (medium action combo) -20lb spiderwire braided line -1/2 ounce Silver Kastmaster spoon (or 1/2 ounce jighead with a white 3-3/4" Strikeking Rage Swimmer) ALL FOUND AT WALMART for less than $80-$100 Hope this helps

I hear you. I put mine on a string to keep alive and fresh until I left(didn't have a cooler with me that day). Took them babies home and fried them up for dinner.🍴😋
