These videos really are better quality than 90% of stuff that you see on telly concerning fishing. And most of the stuff you see on KZbin for that matter. Tight lines mates! PS: just thought I'd mention, me and my dad's had a nightmare. Sometime in October we joined the rother, and it hasn't stopped raining since! So we've sort of been trapped at the sea lately, not a horrible fate admittedly, especially since there's lots of whiting and conger coming out, but we just prey that the classic english weather leaves off for pike season!

I started fishing aged 6 in 1971 on the river Eden in Kent at Chiddingstone. I fished pretty much every method all over the UK over the next 45 years. Did a degree in Fishery management in the early nineties, worked for 10 yrs as a fishery manager. I haven't fished now for probably 10 yrs. I felt I could no longer justify stressing out these creatures that I love. But watching you 2 lads really reminds me of how much joy I had as kid fishing. Your polite, well spoken you respect the fish clearly because your passionate about them. Its so nice too see your videos. Can you do a Tench pond at dawn on bread flake with a small red tipped float...

What a great episode, so honest about frustration pupping up while not catching. This for me is very though. I’ve been trying to catch bigger carp and haven’t succeeded yet. I had one nearly in the net when it broke the line, I was gutted. But I keep on trying to land a pb. You guy’s are an inspiration and true ambassadors of a great sport. Keep on sharing please! great bass well done august is big bass time for sea bass i found but i only fish with big baits no patients for lure fishing .the barbel was a stunner right on your door step so lucky to have a river like that

thats a bass session of a lifetime i reckon, shame round here in east anglia there can be plenty of bass but only small ones, ive given lures a go multiple time and not managed to catch anything on them. seeing what you have managed to do has made me want to get out next summer and put some hours in to try pick a nice one out on a lure. great vid guys, they effort you put in really shows

I live in SW Wales and during the summer we’re inundated with schoolies. However I’ve always caught my larger Bass late in the Autumn and Early spring, with my best just shy of 13lb which I caught in early March in 3’ of water. I see many anglers bass fishing on surf beaches, wading out and casting as far as they can, yet in most cases they’re feeding close in on the third breaker where food gets delivered due to the wave action and undertow.
