Moving to Clearwater from NJ. Have a 23’ center console. What kind of fish am I gona have access to? Any pelagic fish like the East coast of Florida? Tuna,Mahi, sails? Or is it all back country and wreck fishing for my size boat? Thanks!!!

I'm not 100% about your boat but you could get some nice pelagic in the cooler months of the year when they come in a little more shallow but If you have less than two motors then I would stay within 30mi of the shoreline!

West Coast Florida Fishing thanks!! I don’t go farther then 15 miles out here in NJ. What can I expect to catch with in 15 miles? Thanks again!!! Tight lines.

@@richardjohnson33755 Red grouper, gag grouper, American red snapper, hogfish, amberjack, king mackerel, occasional blackfin tuna, occasional wahoo. True pelagics not common, but they come further in-shore for warmer water during winter months. As far as distance, just be very cautious with weather. Calmer seas on average than the mid-Atlantic, but still.
