Fishing for Huge Panfish

In this video I was able to catch some monster bream on little pee dee river. we had a great day of fishing with a slight overcast with Temps in the 70's. Glad your Mom is better. I recently bought a TENKARA Fly Rod. I love it. It looks and works the same as a Bream Buster BUT it weighs half as much. Mine is 12' but they come in several sizes. Walmart 60.00 comes in a nice hard case with tippet,float line,flies and jigs. line keeper line cutter. Collapsed length is 16.5 " perfect for a swamp boat. also comes with replacement tip sections. It took some time but I landed a 9 pound blue cat 0n 2 pound tippet......Epic Battle !!! LOL

It's just personal choice. I think the fight on a bream buster is more fun especially a 1.5 -2 lb bluegill or shellcracker. I love hearing the line sing from a nice fish. I also think that is is more of a challenge. That's just my opinion. I will fish with a rod and reel occasionally if I'm fishing the swamps. Both ways are fun.
