Richard Gene, you are the second best fisherman I have ever seen. I almost expect the fish to put up their fins and surrender the moment you touch the water. The best fisherman is Jesus Christ, not only of fish, but of men too. Thank you for taking the time, and being willing to share your knowledge.

If you'd prefer, you could load up and come back to the eternal summer one state South where it's 86, and not a breeze is stirring, and 10 minutes outside will draw all the moisture out of your body. The last week of Feb is often the 1st week of summer down here. I'm gonna get me a van and pull my boat north 'til I hit 60 -70 degrees, and follow it up and down/left and right.

you are completely right about fishing an 1/80th oz jig slow! I had to find that out just recently. I wish i would've known the years prior. Usually i just wait till the next time i hit a lake that stocks trout out here in so-cal.

Richard Hutchinson, I'll tell you, it's light line, 2-4 pound test, and a light action rod with a fast tip. The light action, fast tip rod, coupled with light line, will act like a buggy whip, and allow you to launch that light bait.
