I continue my journey in trying to fill my stringer while I fish for rainbow trout.

Good eating right there! That's my favorite kind of fishing

I agree, out all the fresh water fish I've eaten, Crappie and Trout are my top two. I love cover the trout filets in a Cajun batter and fry them up.

@5:45 what campsite loop is this by? I went there last week & couldn’t find this location
@barnhilloutdoors95178 ай бұрын
That spot is located at loop 4. Park and walk up the gravel road that leads up stream, it will lead you to the rock wall, below the rick wall, and to the right is that spot.

None of the fish I landed that trip were over a pound a half. If I land a fish of size, I will weigh them for sure.

Go to the 11 point at greer crossing.

I've never fished the 11 point past Greer Springs, but it is on my bucket list. I've seen the Spring itself, and smallmouth fished above it.

@barnhilloutdoors9517 past greer to turners mill is blue ribbon trout. However past turners the river gets deep an wide and that's where the larger fish are. (I work at the outfitter right there at greer crossing)

Sounds like a sweet gig. I know Greer Springs and that area is beautiful. I'd love to film and adventure out there.

@barnhilloutdoors9517 I work at the outfitter there. We do shuttles and even guided trips. Yes you can catch from the bank but the best fishing is from a boat of sorts(kayak, canoe, John boat)

Sounds like we need to plan a trip. What outfitter do you work for? We will check them out.

Really shouldn’t be picking them up by the mouth like that.

We only hold them like that after we place them on our stringers. We wouldn't hold a fish we planned to release like that.
