Have you ever had problems with your fluorocarbon line breaking with ease? Seems that everytime I've tried using it no meter the brand it's garbage for me. Maybe it's my knot who knows.

Can you explain the water conditions directly in front of you? Seems like a moving water area in front of you with a slack water area on the other bank. Did these conditions determine where you were going to fish??

Rocky current break and deep water. Late summer wipers can be found in any deep hole with a current break. You just gotta bounce around till ya find 'em.

If you like hybrids then you need to come down to GA and fish lake Lanier in the fall and winter. You can catch 5-10 lb hybrids till your arms fall off. Also we got big Stripers that get up to 40-50 lbs too. And it's not ass biting cold down here in the winter like where you are!😎👍👍

Theres nothing like catching those hybrids man I love it here in Alabama when there on. My buddy caught a 16 lb hybrid last month and a 16 and a half striper the next week. That's a giant for a hybrid here and probably for anywhere. I've never caught one bigger than 11 lbs but man are they so fun to catch. We catch alot of spotted bass in the mix with them that's fun as well but nothing ove 5 and a half lbs on spots. I enjoyed your videos. Keep your line tight and videos coming

But far as them two giants my buddy caught are not an every year thing catching that big of hybrids but there 5 - 11 lbs usually best we personally catch here but a bigun is never out of the question. The day he caught them biguns he didn't catch another fish both days but I'd trade quality for that quality fish any day

My home lake is Greers Ferry and we have the world record hybrid at 27lbs. We caught plenty over 10lbs every month. They stopped stocking them!!! I was so pissed. It’s been a about 5 or 6 yrs so they are declining fast. Sucks I love catching them.

Yeah man hybrids and stripers are tougher than a boy named Sue. We've gotten down in Louisiana but I go to Arkansas every year for a week and every afternoon in the summer at the same time in the same place for the last 10 years they'll have about 10 acres of them blowing up everywhere. It only last for about 30 mins but chunking topwater baits them things explode on it. Its definitely something I look forward to every year!!!! Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!!

I never caught one before until last year. Was fishing in a spillway for crappie and decided to toss a shiner out deeper cuz I seen people catching them. Ultra light rod with 6 pound test. That fish took me for a 30 minute ride. The other people at the spillway were annoyed cuz I was running up and down trying to control that thing haha

As a Nebraskan currently stranded in Missouri who spent the formative years of my youth fishing for Wipers... There is not a fish in the lake that hits a bait like a big 10lb wiper. These fish also will blitz shad on the surface and top water can be absolutely insane! Elwood Reservoir in June.. Big Bass, Big Flathead, Big Musky and Big Wipers.. Its a Hidden Gem in Nebraska and absolutely an amazing lake to Kayak fish......

Yes one of my favorite species definitely probably the meanest in Freshwater that I've caught any way .Specially river hybrid .I had a 12 pounder in strong current run me about 200 yards in early spring .Thats when I decided 8 pound mono needed a upgraded lol. Awesome video as always man.
