Thanks for commenting! Sadly that’s all the tiger footage i think I have. Yes the fish eagles call give off such a peaceful easy feeling!

I see you using the baitcaster now. They are quite good when you get used to them but casting with them is a different sort of movement it's more of a flick of the wrist in a sort of curved motion. I struggled a fair bit and always used to get a bloody tangled mess which takes forever to fix.

Yes but one you get it a bait caster is so awesome!

I took it that you must be fishing in some dam in South Africa? Looks very much like Zimbabwe. Don't you love it when you hook one of those bottom dweller barble/vundu. Horrible things.

This dam is in the lowvelt of Zim, those rumba give a nice fight but they are so dam slimy

Hi Josh, hope all is well. Just curious, what set up are you using, like in, rod power, gear ratio, and line size. Because I’m in the market to buy my first top water frog setup, (bass fishing) and I thought the specs of the frog and the tiger set might be the same, so I’ll use it for both. I’ll really appreciate your feedback. And also really enjoying your content great stuff, greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦

Hi, glad you enjoy the videos! Yes a frog setup for bass should work well for tiger, a medium heavy or heavy rod will do well and I use a lews super duty wide reel, i think it’s a fast gear ratio, with 35lb line but you could go up to 50lb.

@ThisisAfricaOutdoors Thanks for the nearly instant feedback and advice. I really appreciate it. All the best, have a great night. 👍
