@@PatrickWarner-w5t we have tried much smaller prawns with absolutely no luck, so we keep getting the big ones which seem to work. Might try the smaller ones again!

Cool camp spot! A tip from New Zealand lol. You could try a 40mm or 50mm float above the prawn to keep it up off the riverbed away from crabs. Have the float same distance away from bait as sinker. Im sure Australian crabs can't rope climb 😂🎣

Spin with Top Water lures , if you fish on the bottom , you will catch what lives on the bottom , start with floating StickBait cheers
