The Penn Slammer 4 6500 failed me diabolically!! It blew its gears completely after less than 24hrs of continuous use. IMO don’t waste your money. THIS WAS MY FINDING FOR THIS REEL. You might’ve caught huge fish on it but my reel failed dismally 👎 👎👎👎👎👎👎

Hi! I was just wondering why you didn’t use your 3 piece travel rods? I’m planning to buy a bunch of them to avoid oversize luggage. And what bag did you use to carry the 3 piece rods on flights before? Thanks!

I sold them because their travel length was virtually 1m. Finding a suitable bag REALLY difficult. As I knew multi section travel rods are inherently not as good as butt joint rods, and as I said finding a bag wasn’t easy, I sold them and replaced with butt joint rods and used a Sportube. Not looked back. Hope this helps??!!
