I love fishing in Wales. I had to cancel both my planned trips last year due to bl**dy Covid. I normally visit the Tywi round Llandeilo and Llandovery. Magical river. Fingers crossed I'll be able to make it this season.

Any way you can convince Daiwa to release a 9ft #5 in the likes of the Silver Creek range Hywel? I have the 10ft #7 and the 9ft#9 for reservoir and Pike fly fishing, and although my go to is a Hardy Demon Sintrix, I really like the Silver Creek rods, especially the great price.

Great video. Why not use a line tray rather than gathering with your hand? Cheers

It's just another thing to take, you don't want to be burdened with a lot of gear when llyn fishing, its walk and fish, light as possible.

Is there wild rainbow trout in Wails?, they can breed there, Greeting Bjarne Staulund from Denmark
@FishingInWales2 жыл бұрын
No, it is impossible due to the climate. Just brown trout, sea trout, salmon and char in a few deep lakes.

@@FishingInWales So that rainbow was a stocked fish - the Llyns are stocked ? that doesnt sound completely wild tbh
@FishingInWales2 жыл бұрын
@@hereasafanofallsorts5164 90% of wild Welsh lakes have no stocking. Frongoch (in this video) is stocked because it is an accessible water for the club members who are cannot hike to remote spots. The other lake in the video is a brown trout only venue. Check out our Snowdonia video for truly wild trout lakes: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rnXPd6qZaLukhpY

Are there any free fishing lakes in Snowdonia?
@FishingInWales8 ай бұрын
A few are considered 'free' most most are with angling clubs at a reasonable cost to fish.

Hi There. There must surely be some proper coarse fishing lakes ? We're not all fluff flingers & bug wafters
@FishingInWales3 жыл бұрын
Most upland lakes & reservoirs in Wales hold trout only. However there are some great coarse fisheries & wild venues for coarse fish - check out our llandegfedd feeder fishing video 👍
