I ordered this to net the algae in a large pond in our backyard. kzbin.infoUgkxphFK7ETiDP5G4IGsNcg7vbASDp_YfDpI The net is very sturdy and easy to maneuver in the water. The angled edges make it easier to get into the smaller spaces among the rocks. I didn't realize that the front of the net doesn't actually have a frame to it, just the sides do, but it seems to work just fine. The handle extends to various sizes, which is a great feature when I'm in areas that are tight with shrubs at the edges of the pond. I can collapse the handle so it doesn't get stuck in the bushes.

Thanks. I've watched many videos on the bimini twist and none are adequate from a visual standpoint. Your tutorial is very clear with the explanation and it was easy to see what's happening from all the camera angles and zoom.

Hi there Matt. Thank you for making the tying of this knot so clear. I watched another video before yours and could not get it right. I tied my first bimini after watching your video. Keep up the good work!

I know this is an older video but it's still helping people like me out... thank you. Is this just as strong as tying your double with the braided knot?

Bimini twist as usual but I would venture a guess that you bow hunt, as the whip finish is identical to the whip finish for my bow servings for sights and nock points. This is my new fa vorite for bill fish, tarpon class leaders, inshore species, fly line to backing etc.

Hi, does Bimini twist in braid lines also produce spring effect? Secondly, can we use double uni knot while attaching to leader (i.e., Bimini braid to mono leader AND Bimini mono to mono leader?)

Yeah the American bloke that uses the rod and reel to do it is quick as just like the way your doing it Matt 🤙🏽
@huntjunky12 жыл бұрын
No it isn't...his does not include the whip finish at the end. which adds an additional 20 seconds but is a far superior finish for "ramping" and taper along with finish bite. Watch it again and pay attention this time.

Does this work with small plastic line? I seemed to have made a slip knot following these steps
@arronlockyer54244 жыл бұрын
on the mono do you have to end with such a large loop? Thanks
@mrmojorisin55914 жыл бұрын
Its the whole idea of the knot is to have a double but you usually have a bigger double he made it smaller just to make it easier for the video

Can you do a Aussie platt knot too ?

Great video! Can you unhook a Bimini to change leaders or do you just cut them off and start all over? Thank you!
@UltimateFishingTV2 жыл бұрын
Depends what knot you have used to attach the lead, if its a 'Cats Paw' then it can be easily untied.

Hi, after u create the Burmese twist, hw do u connect the two lines together
@crustybear2 жыл бұрын
Would you nowadays use that over the plait shown in "Getting started in game fishing" ? I kinda struggle a bit with the plait.
@outtheblue94702 жыл бұрын
Plaît is more permanent for lighter and longer game fishing leaders

@jeffsmith8254 жыл бұрын
You can go loop to loop with a wind on or tie an Albright on doubled over leader. Nice thing about the longer double section as you can tie multiple Albright's before having to retie the bimini.

Loop to loop biminis come close to 99 percent strength. FG around 80-85.
