Glad to see you let it go, I caught a 9.5# Largemouth bass in Boone county 2 weeks ago and let it go.

Loved the genuine scream of excitement and then the backstory. That was a great fish. Was it a PB? I noticed you used some methods similar to MHood --- that's a sign of fishing knowledge when two people far apart use the same method to catch the same species. Your stretch of the Kentucky is much prettier than my stretch of the Mississippi in New Orleans. But, maybe we get better cats than you do? The biggest catfish, a blue, caught in KY was a shade under 107 pounds. In 2014, a dude near Baton Rouge pulled one out of the river at 114. I guess you get 7 lbs fatter when you live in Louisiana. It's all the good food.

What part of Kentucky are you fishing? Loved to see the 31lb catfish caught without any help. You are great.

This area is the Ky River between lock 1 and lock 2. The dock im fishing on is a private dock, so there is no access to it. But you can put a boat in at the twin creek ramp and fish the same location.
