That was great...good surfing footage too 😄! Glad to see you caught quite a variety of fish, but you didn't say your trademark phrase: "No skunkin'!" Tight lines man!

Great video. The Got-cha plug in the one part of video. We use them in Lake Erie for walleye in Michigan. Work great.

Nice change of scenery. When ya get back and want to get into the cats again, there’s a bunch of them above the 5 bridge. 3pm-dark seems to be the best time lately. Love the videos

Used to fish outer banks November and December late 70s early 80s. Was epic. I saw guys with Ford 150s full of 15 lb Bluefish and 2-3 pound Speckled Trout. Don't think that happens anymore. Good video.

Awesome trip to NC, much needed holiday to unwind and recharge. Great father daughter vacation. Lots of different fish species on this trip. Love the surf and pier fishing because you never know what you’re going to catch. Top it off with some great seafood feast. Didn’t know you were into surfing, Bill. 😂

That rod has a little too much whip in the tip for working the Gotcha. Your hookups would be much better with a fast action rod. If I ever run into you up in Buffalo area I'll show you the one I made specifically for Spanish off the pier. Turned into one of my favorite all purpose rods.
@BillMikesAnglingAdventures2 жыл бұрын
thanks man the inshore travel rod i had comes with 2 different tip sections - the other ones heavier , I'll have to use that one next year
@tomdietrich61142 жыл бұрын
@@BillMikesAnglingAdventures I lived down there for almost 20 years. Spanish off the pier was one of my favorites. Clark spoon with a trolling/inline weight (1-2oz depending on wind and current) works well too in the middle of the day. Cast as far out as possible, let it sink to the bottom, and crank it in fast. Give yourself about 18-24" of flouro between the weight and the spoon.
