I have the same success with the Versa Max Pro popping cork, about the same amount of leader but, I use a 1/16 oz Deathgrip jig head and a Matrix Shad Shrimp Creole soft plastic. I pop the cork regularly to entice bites. This also works on specks with "fresh dead" shrimp. I brought this technique with me from New Orleans. It's great when the fish are up shallow. In deep water I use a 3/8 oz Deathgrip jig head without the cork and the Matrix Shad. The Holey Joely color is really good in clear water.

Great video!!! I live in j-ville and can’t catch fish like u do….how does that knocker rig work?

Thanks. Simply an egg sinker directly above the hook so it can slide up and down.

Hey greg. I just wanted to tell you i caught a beautiful slot fish at salt run the other day using half a blue claw crab. Ive never seen you fish with crab.

Nice! I do fish with Blue crab some but not often. I am going out tomorrow so maybe I’ll use some. Thanks
