When you had the rods lined up and kept getting bit was awesome. It reminds me of fishing Mission Bay in the 70s for spotfin croaker. My nephew and I would usually have 5 rods altogether. When the fish were moving through with a tide change many times all 5 rods would go down at the same time. We referred to that as the wonderful chaos. Great video with too many species to keep up with and very nonstop entertainment. Thanks for sharing with us 😎

As a chef, i can tell you that the reason why the restaurant's fish was better was because the fish was dipped in melted butter before the blackening season was added. Very much enjoy your videos!

Brant my man! I appreciate how much lead time you gave the fans with your end of August announcement, BUT, unfortunately for me I need more like a month notice to get time off work 😭. My fiancée and I already plan to visit the store, but it'd be nice to possibly run into you guys sometime too. I'd even bring along a buddy or two, all the way from Sarasota! Keep the content coming, and hopefully you get to go on vacation SOON dude!

Hey Brant awesome vid. Do you scale the mullet bait?
@howardlashbrook85004 ай бұрын
If you make a Fred toy, make it say mullet just like Homer Simpson. That's what I thought when you said hi to Fred. You need to get a bell or a line alarm for your fishing pole, so, you don't have to watch it all the time. Back in the 1990's I had a 14ft one piece rod and I could cast it further than anyone else could. And I was throwing a 4 ounce pyramid sinker for Sturgeon in the Columbia river in Washington State.

Up here in NYC region circle hooks have been mandatory for striper fishing for a few years now. Some people complain that they hate them and lose fish, but honestly they work well for me. That being said, I have still gut hooked a few.

Hey Brett, I noticed you have the outdoor kitchen and you cut your fish on the counter and then spray it off. I will tell you from me having the same thing that you should not do that anymore. Cut your fish somewhere else!! When you spray off the scraps onto the deck it gets under the deck and festers and the bacteria builds and next you get animals trying to get to the smell and mice and rats even. Plus over time the smell gets real real bad and then you have to pull up the deck boards and fix the problem. Also it runs down the side of your cabinets and bugs get attracted to the smell. Also the bacteria is the major problem!!! To keep your outdoor kitchen nice where you can have company come and the smell and bugs aren’t a problem you should cut the fish away from the outdoor kitchen or at least try not to get the stuff from cutting the fish on the ground. Maybe try to get it down the drain and throw bleach down the drain every so often or squeeze a couple of lemons down it. Just wanted to give you a heads up cause your outdoor kitchen is very nice and I wouldn’t want you to have the same problem and have to spend a lot of money to redo the area where the fish has caused a problem. Love the videos and watch all of them!! You are a very knowledgeable fishermen and I have learned some good pointers from you!! Take care and “HOOK SOME BIGGINS”!!!!

I'm still embarassed to admit after many trips to florida I have yet to catch a snook or redfish. Granted its mainly a golf trip but i put the hours in. There was a big snook under our air bnb dock he wouldnt even sniff my shrimp in 7 days in the Tampa area. I've only caught a nice spanish, a trout and hoards of the same nuisance catfish that eat my 40 dollar blood worms every night where I live. I randomly also caught a striper (my favorite and local fish) in your area actually (a bridge in pensacola when I visited my brother who was stationed there in navy.)
