Great video Dannielle, and Sparta of course! Thats a proper gnarly spot to fish - maybe you were a mountain goat in a previous life😏
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
I’m growing hooves Greg 😆 Was a bit iffy that spot, I’ll not be on there again 🫣
@gregfaux3445Ай бұрын
@ be a devil - a cheeky pair of horns would go with those hooves, and you would never be cold😏
@gregfaux3445Ай бұрын
@@fishinghinny the full mountain goat rig will need a pair of cheeky horns to go with the hooves🤣 Sparkly ones would be appropriate for Christmas!

Only half a point for a coaley Hinney LOL Good looking marks well done for entertaining to you and Sparta 👍🐳

Thanks Adam Haha yeh, half a point 🤷🏻♀️😆 still half a point more than Sparta though 😆😆

Danielle you really do love the sketchy places to fish. You really must have been a Billy Goat in a previous life. At least you didn't blank which is always good. Mind you it looked bloody freezing so take care be safe and I will look forward to your next adventure 😊❤❤
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Haha yeh, I do like the adventure Stephen, seeking out places and climbing around, definitely a goat in a previous life 😆👍🎣

Can't wait to watch "round three". Stay safe on the rocks both of you.
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Haha I can’t wait for that session, it’ll be sooner rather than later, and local too, we’ve already discussed where - just need then when 🤩👍🎣
@letsgofishing3249Ай бұрын
I enjoy watching your videos you seem to love fishing and I like the coast line over there. Here in Australia we have laws put in place when fishing off the rock and that is wearing a life vest. Quite a lot of people get washed in every year. The weather and water must be freezing over there compared to what I am used to.
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Thanks, yeh the coast is amazing in places here. I do wear a life jacket on some marks, esp if it’s not a familiar one. It’s surprising mild here this winter, was out last night on a beach and it was 11 degrees 🤩
@stephenperry7651Ай бұрын
Glad you moved spots Danielle!!! You had me twitching there. I think you deserve a new rod? If limitless are watching I can’t think of a better advertisement of their good rods than you casting further than you have before😉. Keep them coming and stay safe👍
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Thanks Stephen Yeh it wasn’t a great spot that, I’ll not be going back on that ledge. The rod was nice, I’d probably want something very slightly heavier and maybe a foot longer, for pulling out cod on the heavier rock marks - but still, a very nice cast from that rod 👍🎣
@iancrammen22Ай бұрын
Love your NE videos Danielle being an exiled Durham pit yacker up north in Scotland. Here's a tip though, if you absolutely must walk towards the sea whilst bringing in a fish, you must retrive / wind like hell otherwise you create slack line which gives the fish every chance to get off especially, if it's not deep hooked - I'm sure that why you lost that fish which seemed like a decent one from the bend in your rod. And you be very, very carefull on those rock marks - I slipped / went over a cliff trying to get to one 40yrs ago and broke 2 vertebrae - my back has never been the same since 😢
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Hi Ian Yeh, when I watched back that footage I worked out that I let the line slacken off as I moved forward - I’ll not do that again, would have been fish of the day if I’d got that in. I’m always wary when out in risky places, if it doesn’t feel right I’ll move to a safer spot 👍🎣
@iancrammen22Ай бұрын
It didn't feel right when I broke my back but my pal was already down on the mark egging my on / saying I'd be alright - lesson - dont always listen to your pals / go with your gut feeling.
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Yeh, always only do what’s comfortable and safe. Hope your still managing to get out fishing Ian 👍

Nice to see you out again Danielle, not too much going on but you got some fresh air ❤️🐟

Thanks Chris Yeh a quite session but it was nice to have a catch-up with Sparta, and it’s always nice to be out somewhere like that for a few hours 👍🎣
@stevecoppin4278Ай бұрын
Hi Danielle its great to see you out & about , you do know how to pick your marks lol , please take care on those rocks for sure , tight lines
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Thanks Steve That first mark was courtesy of Steve, I’ll not be back on that one - it wasn’t ideal but was the only one fishable. The second mark is spot on though, I found that one last year and got my pb wrasse there 👍🎣

Great to see you fishing with Steve and enjoy his channel too. You did not blank and that is always a result. I had a few hours on the Humber Friday and had lots of small pecking bites and expect they were pin Whiting. I did miss one wallop of a bite just as I was having a vape and felt the fish but I did not fully hook into it. Ended it with a decent Flounder so not all lost. Good fishing to you and tight lines
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Thank you Yeh it was nice to be out with Sparta again, not many fish, but it’s not about catching - just good to be out adventuring. Tight lines for your next outing 👍🎣

What no cod & chips 4 dinner 😮 great video Danielle awesome looking Mark, should be a few conger eels there 😊, when out with a mate in his boat with granddaughter, fished a reef free lining half pilchard ,got into yellow tailed king fish , tag & released a good few that r a good eating fish , took 4 home about 4 kg each 😊 , smoked 3 in fact having smoked king fish & salad tonight omg so yum 😊.Happy catching from Australia Nick 🇦🇺 😊
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Hi Nick Only tiny fish that time - wish we had some of your fish over here. I should drop a mackerel flapper on a hand line next time I’m there to see if there are and conger, I don’t see why there wouldn’t be, it’s deep and rocky enough 🤩👍🎣

Look forward to your uploads Danielle, but watched Steve's most recent video earlier today, he did mention having a nightmare tackle wise lol. These days I would only go there float fishing or luring. But carry on the good work and tight lines 🎣🎣
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Thanks David Haha yeh he did have a bit of a mare that day. That spot is great for lures and float, can’t wait to hit it in the summer 🤩👍🎣
@ashleyhoward8926Ай бұрын
Well done Hinny. I believe the rod you're rod is rung for multipliers, whilst you are using a fixed spool reel. Not the end of the world, but it won't help your cast by any means. Keep up the good work !
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Hi Ash It was nice to see what a different rod was like, I’ll have to have a go of the one you mentioned to me previously - see you for a Christmas coffee soon 🤩👍🎣

The splash downs are supposed to be used under tension Danielle. Putting them on like that with the hook loose or upside down can cause failure to open. Great video & nice to see you & steve oot n aboot! Keep up the great work.

You say that this fishing trip was in Scotland, it looked like yous were fishing off Ben Nevis at that first spot! My god Danielle you've got some bottle! take care and hope you have plenty more tight lines, 😂
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Haha thanks David Yeh that first mark was a bit icky, I’d not fish there by myself - there’s a mark just o the left where I go but it was too rough to get on 👍🎣

To dangerous for me there, I like the platform at the back of the caravan site. Hanging of rocks to fish, no no no no

Yeh I’ve been to that mark at the back of the caravans a few times Eddy, it is an easier mark to get onto and to fish from, lovely in the summer 👍🎣

@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
I’m checking them before every cast now, that one was actually one from a previous session which after I took it off I remembered that it had been sticking previously. If I get any more issues I’ll look at other options 👍
@mickhardstaff6605Ай бұрын
Well-done Hinny beat him again, must admit Steve looked brassed off .
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Haha he wasn’t having much luck that day Mick, there’s nothing worse than a session where almost every cast gets stuck - I was doing ok, only got snagged a few times, and two fish 🏆🏆
@paulleclercq8086Ай бұрын
Think you would be better off with breakaway clips , and more tension on your hook lengths
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Hi Paul I’ll adjust my traces next time, and I’ll have a look at the breakaway 👍🎣
