Jay I know where you’re standing but I won’t tell. Good success with zonkers ( olive) rabbit tied on a 2 or 3x long size 8 or 10 with a sparse red hackle up front. Last Saturday Nov 23 fishing was terrible on the Salmon probably from the weather change, I stayed home but my buddy and several accomplished fisherman got skunked. Jay is right stay away from the crowded spots, I know it’s difficult with all the private property but places like the (petting zoo) fly zone are too crowded, fish are getting pelted with lead every 30 seconds. Thanks for the video and all you do jay. How about a video on your most productive stones for steelhead? After all it’s a staple up there.

I would love to see a full life cycle of flies. You could do it as a single or multiple video/s per species (i.e. Caddis, mayfly, stonefly). That's something that I haven't seen anywhere at least.

Jay how about some salmon river steelhead flies. Besides the "steelhead crack". Thanks for the real deal reports.

Thanks for the great video, always fun to watch from afar. How about an intruder style fly you’ve had success on Kings with?

Purchased a hat from you a couple of years ago at the pineville shop, an absolutely beautiful color combo (love the yellow/gold against the moss background). Did your wife pick those colors or are you taking credit?

How about all the exposed bank or what was river bed for anglers to freely roam abouts? Now opening up miles and a lot of water to screw up, especially if they are spin fishermen, that would otherwise at the least limit mobility. And the fish themselves have less water to catch a break in. I think thats definitely an unprecedented pressure factor on top of there already being more and more anglers on the water, more educated knowledgeable with social media and better at catching the fish. They leave no rock unturned amd its hard enough as it is. I just question the sustainability in the next decade and measures needed like no taking of brown trout or spring closures of wild steelhead spawning grounds.

Certain Erie tribs cannot be fished until April due to spawning. However, there is not that much natural reproduction in the Ontario system.
