I took the cameras down to the tidal Dorset Stour this week in cold, but ideal in terms of colour and flow, conditions. I fished with a tiny 3.5 gram feeder, blended bread and flake on a size 10, getting the feeder to move through the swim, and after a slow start start contact a couple of good fish.
I go into this method in detail in my last roach book, Big Roach 2, which is available from calmproductions.com
Other gear: Team Daiwa 12ft quivertip rod, Shimano Stradic rear drag 2500 reel. Daiwa Sensor 4lb main line. Kamasan B611 size 10 hook.
The water is Ringwood DAA controlled with day tickets from local tackleshops.
